@WashingtonHomeCollective Жыл бұрын
@johnnycalderon9951 I work 12 midnight to 8 am for my day job and I do my real estate business from 1000 to 1200 and on my off days Friday and Saturday I work Friday 9 to 5pm or later and open houses Saturday from 10 to 2pm or 11 to 1pm then go back to work that night. It's a lot but it works for now. I am super exhausted 😩 though lol

@cryswashington I bet I just started 1030pm to 8am monday to Friday. Weekends off. I was thinking going home sleep gym then doing real estate for at least 3 4 hours. Definitely open houses on the weekends. What state you doing it in?

I’m a truck driver looking for a career change (I do have customer service and sales experience) but I definitely don’t have tens of thousands of dollars as a nest egg to jump to full time yet. When you pick a brokerage do you need to pay rent for an office? Like how barbers pay rent for their station.
@LoidaVelasquez6 ай бұрын
Great question! Some brokerages do have what they call a “desk fee” that they charge agents monthly. Others don’t have that but they have a split with the agent where they take more from your commission when you do a deal, or have a high transaction fee to make up for it. Some don’t charge anything, so it all depends on the company and the structure they have.

I am a new agent and signed with Real…however I messed up and my sponsor is in another state and I don’t have much help. When I ask a question to my state broker I usually don’t get a direct response. I have two listings and I have been working on it for a week straight and still have no idea where to start. Should I change brokers to local? Upset and confused. However I will be great a getting listings. Just have no guidance at all.
@LoidaVelasquez5 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear that’s happening. What state are you in?
@DianaDanielsRE3 ай бұрын
I am thinking of joining REAL, my potential sponsor (a good friend of mine) is also not in my state. My concern is that she isn’t here and on a different time zone. I feel like it wouldn’t benefit me as much as having a local sponsor would…
@DianaDanielsRE3 ай бұрын
Also, how did you do on those transactions on your own?
@LoidaVelasquez3 ай бұрын
@DianaDanielsRE well, you can count on your state broker for any specific questions pertaining to your state. Another option is maybe you can find a cosponsor and have your second sponsor be someone local if that’s really important to you. Aside from that, if you do join, just plug in to the trainings and any local meetings etc.
@DianaDanielsRE3 ай бұрын
@@LoidaVelasquez I haven’t considered a co-sponsor. I wasn’t aware it was an option. I’ll look into it. Thank you
