1. Do know your learning style & use it. 2. Do understand how your manager likes to train. 3. Do ask good questions. 4. Don’t guess what to do because you’re afraid to ask questions. 5. Do set mini targets for yourself & achieve them.

Thanks for the video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Caniam Zenmily Blaster (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for using brain wave programming to achieve wealth and happiness and improving your health minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my best friend Jordan at very last got cool success with it.

I agree specially in the first few months when you are trying to learn the new jobs way of doing things. however it is a bad sign if your supervisor gets annoyed with you asking questions and doesn't speak up. just happened at my last job that i joined post pandemic. the boss was nice at first. but for the first 2 days he was evasive on directly approaching me. then i realised that my last employer was way more productive and provided us with latest software, technology, etc. to do our job effectively. this boss was a narcissist who saw my new tech methods as a threat to his job security. and a month in he tells me i didnt live up to their expectations and he wants me to packup and leave. i told him his way of doing things was antiquated and that I'm not a mind reader. if you had issues with me, tell me. the only great feeling i got out of the whole experience was that i left the office in a huge mess when i left. supervisor on way out tells me "don't worry you might find another job". i smiled and walked out. i already had 3 interviews and an offer when i was out the door. im now a month in and have an interview at least 3 times a week. market in ontario is crazy.

Will you ask questions tu those whom you know for sure would mislead you?? Will you ask for favour from those who had let you down?
@sushmitaroy16675 жыл бұрын
I liked the point about asking questions even when you are afraid of looking incompetent, and the trick to best do that by showing the trainer what you already know to do and then what you are unsure about. Very good advice! Because sometimes by not doing that, the trainer will go ahead and rehash the whole process again, thinking that you forgot everything, when that may not be the case at all.

Great tip to know your unique learning style. This will help a lot when starting a new job and it's important to be aware of this for career success! I love how you gave an example of how to ask a question if you're unsure of something. It's always best to highlight what you already know to make a point of the fact that you truly are aiming for success. Cheers!

Hi I just want to say thank you 🙏🏼 coz I was just offered a job 2 days ago after using the interview tips from your channel. I realised I made plenty of mistakes from my past 2 interviews (I wasted the chance) , and on my 3rd I nailed it. Good preparation is crucial and the things we thought could help us to land a job were actually red flags . Thank you thank you 😊

Linda, is there any advice on trying to stay in your company but change position (demotion) my current role is too hectic for me.
@Farm_charm_sanctuary5 жыл бұрын
Kemberly Gail a coworker of mine just recently demoted to a lower position because she was getting worn out from the higher position. All she did was ask the supervisor and talk to her about it. Sometimes simply asking works fine. But it also helps to have an understanding supervisor who’s willing to help you out like that. I’m sure if you’re really having a hard time with your current position, there’s a way to work this out. Hope this helps.

Hi Linda. Great video and appreciate you putting this together. How do you assess organisational culture prior to starting a new role in the interview process? In the past, I have had to eject out of a job after a couple of weeks. The culture was toxic and miserable. Are there specific red flags during the interview process to avoid this? Sometimes its hard to know until you start working within that environment. Thanks.
@Jynna35 жыл бұрын
Monte Hey! I’ve come across this too and I’m learning that when you’re in the interview process and the interviewer asks you if you have any questions, I feel this is your opportunity to interview THEM about the culture, how they keep morale in employees, maybe ask them questions on how they acknowledge employee growth and accomplishments. Remember the things that created toxicity prior and ask them questions on how they may deal with some of those issues. I believe that when we’re looking for work it’s a mutual exchange of opportunity. You’ll be investing your time and energy to the position and company and they’ll be investing in you as well. The interviewing process should really go both ways. Good luck with everything!!!
