@@ThePlantDiariesss you gotta try it! I put in plastic lunch. The see through ones. And covered.

Woooow!!!! Okay then that might just be the way to go! Because my leaves haven’t been growing. I think the growth was stunted when I took it out of the green house plastic sandwich bag! Probably was too soon to pull out, but that’s what these trial and error videos are for 🥲 thank you so much for letting me know how yours is doing

@@ThePlantDiariesss yw! Make sure to post when you make a video. Was thinking of just making a short video of growth! But idk lol. Good luck! Can't wait to see!

I just purchased some new cuttings and they are in a clear cup with sphagnum moss.. I’m not sure what to do because when I arrived home the leaves were soft and wrinkled a bit.. they cost me a small fortune for 6 cuttings! 😭 I don’t want to mess this up! I can’t tell if they are dehydrated or stressed from the drive home.. please help!

New plant friend here and this method looks pretty cool although I just posted on my channel doing it with the water method and it seems to be doing fine as well. But it’s great to know there are other ways of propagating. I definitely enjoyed your video and hopefully you can come join my plant family as well. Until next time happy 🌿 growing!

Use hair pins or floral wire to hold them down.

I actually like water for regular string of hearts but prefer butterfly for variegated. idk why it works well for me like that

Ah!!!! I’ll actually try that I don’t think I’ve tried it with regular soh !

I’ve just massacred my VSOH really hoping they propergate! Such a gamble 😖 but I won’t keep paying and £6.95 for 5 tiny hearts on a string

When do you take them out from the ziplock bag?
@ThePlantDiariesss3 жыл бұрын
I took them out after they got a few leaves. But once I took them out, they went into shock and I didn’t receive any growth until I put them into a really sunny spot. It took 5 months
@ThePlantDiariesss3 жыл бұрын
A sunny spot that had some shade cloth any way. Didn’t want to put them in direct sun
