You say set offensive pressure to Conservstive but show Full Attack. Which is it?

@BillyBetYT
@BillyBetYT 6 жыл бұрын
It’s confusing at first, but offensive pressure controls how aggressive your defensemen are offensively, and defensive pressure affects the forwards. When you go to full attack your telling your defensemen that offense is their number one priority, something you would use if down by three goals in the second period.

How do these recommendations work against computer AI? Is it possible to deny zone entry against computer the way the computer plays against you??

Hi. Thank you for explanation....but....why i should use offensive line strategy "don't block"?
@SleevelessGaming
@SleevelessGaming 6 жыл бұрын
when having everything set to aggresive, the ai will randomly drop down and if your opponent holds the puck, they will get walked easier! best way to block is to just stand up with a controlled player in front of the shot!

Can you explain what you base your sliders for your forward and defensive lines a bit more? This is something never fully explained anywhere and no matter how much I tweak the players never do what I expected they'd do ... thanks!

i tend to just leave them in the middle of energy and hustle, as well on defense i leave it on hold the line no pinching it leads to odd man rushes!

@@SleevelessGaming I think I've got mostly everything set for my style but I still run into guys just standing there then the puck is loose or getting a breakaway only to have the opponent catch up to them. So I'm confused about the Efficiency/Energy slider. From my understanding is the higher you have it set means that they'll play harder however nothing online is consistent and nobody has a solid answer. I currently have mine set at 10 to scaled all the way to the right for Energy under the impression that my guys will be giving it all they got

This explains the change in what I’ve been experiencing. I’m going to change my settings to this and probably go back to winning all the time thanks for the video. I don’t like this tuner I felt the game was more back and forth previously with much more variety. Now it is a cheese fest, I prefer simulation vs arcade.

just tap circle, left right up or down on the d pad as well as r1. they will all bring up the strategies box and you can change them based on which button you press!

Sleeve can you show how to recover the puck from puck ragger? Some of them after they get an advance they go behind their net and waiting for you to chase them. Since the Ai doesn't do anything it make it so hard to recover the puck since you can't change strategy during this time.They ragging and have the option to pass and go back and do the same thing again. Any of the 1-2-2 make it hard since my teammate prefer to hold their defensive position rather to go chasing the puck. The passiveness of the Ai make it so easy for puck ragger to waisting time on the clock it's ridiculous..

i will actually have a video on this. but the best way is to do full forecheck and take your player and sit behind his net. dont move. he will get weirded out, and wont be able to go back and will have to push the play. works every time!

Silly question: how do you suggest getting the “Score a Breakaway Goal” objectives ?
@SleevelessGaming
@SleevelessGaming 6 жыл бұрын
honestly, you have to sit behind your net with the single side slant control break out and slap it down the boards to the streaking winger. but you have to be across the blue line with no dman for it to count.

there is two things you have to adjust if the guy get breajaways or 2-1s often. il have a video explaining this in the next day or so. There is few games where these strategies arent adjusted throughout a game.
@BenSS3
@BenSS3 6 жыл бұрын
Let me guess... you went for the hit every single time, rather than any other viable and more effective defensive skill? lol, just kidding. Everyone has their own unique play style, this is just a good set of strategies for your basic framework. You should try to slightly adjust it every few games depending on your strengths and weaknesses. TL;DR - There isn't a single strategy that will always work for everyone. You need to adjust both strategies and play style to find a way that works the best for you, this is just more or less the rule of thumb at the moment for most players.

kk so when you end up giving up a break or two, switch from the 1-2-2 blue to the 1-4 and the offensive zone pressure to conservative. when the rush starts hold r2 and pres down on the right thumb stick to select the furthest guy back to play it!

It’s funny how they tune the game to stop people from doing something they all complain about so that everyone can then play exactly the same way and complain about that. I’m now going to buy big bodied puck controlling forwards with good passing and hand eye and just switch to being a puck ragger instead of a defensive player.

top players or even good players are good because they play more... a bad player with a good team will still be bad because the ways you score and defend in nhl are based on how you control them. I can list about 50 players with a 80-85 overall team that would destroy an average player that spent 1000s easily. but thats because they took the time to get better at the game. theres no cheat code in nhl lol i use selanne every game and theres plenty of times he doesnt score, its not automatic my dude.

Personally I love when people play the trap you have so many option when they do it. You can dump the puck and chase it .You have no pressure in your zone so you have all the time to change line and setup a good attack.Most of the time full attack prevent them to have time to setup for the trap. I only use 1-4 when all the opp do is rush from the side with full speed to blow my defense. When you will stop crying like a spoiled kid and learn to adapt to any situation you will not have time to complaint.
@mikkosantti5393
@mikkosantti5393 6 жыл бұрын
You kind of made my point there. Obviously playing trap doesnt suit all occasions but it has helped me a ton with better opponents to stop them from entering into my zone so easily. I much rather take the ”organized attack” with 4 players under the puck than unorganized one with 1-2 players...
@jean-hn4gr
@jean-hn4gr 6 жыл бұрын
@@mikkosantti5393 Yes its help because a lot of opp try to glide and deke to beat the 1-4 trap but trust me if someone dump and chase all the time you can have hard time to defend because your ai have to turn their body back to catch up .Most people don't dump because they scare to lose possession or not be able to recover the puck first.All i'm saying is any strategies have a counter. Good players know that you have to adapt your strategies during the game specially if you playing with elite players.
@mikkosantti5393

jean b amen bro. I haven’t had any issues with dumper’n’chasers but rather skilled people who know how to break the trap... i.e. Pass backwards at the right time...
