I love you, and have been following you for years now! I had a heart attack in 2012, went to IIN to learn more about nutrition and wellness, and got exposed to you as well as other wonderful health and wellness warriors. I really LOVE this wellness Wednesday idea. Thank you for the reminders and inspiration. STAY WELL

I love love vegetables, kale is a favorite. I have sadly been told to reduce the amount I eat because plant foods are high in oxalates. I have never had stones though. Could you weigh in on this aspect of eating lots of veggies?

what about oxalic acid? that makes kidney stones? I love big salads, lots of greens of all kinds and they say spinach is the worse for this.. the most oxalic acid.. I take Chanka Piedra regularly.. but still I wonder if there is a way to prevent them. I do drink lots of water..

The highest oxalate levels are found in spinach, beet greens, and Swiss chard. Because of their high oxalate content, they are not considered a reliable source of calcium. However, not all greens are high in oxalates. Low oxalate greens include kale, bok choy, romaine, arugula, turnip greens, and others.

What are your thoughts on why so many young women are being diagnosed with breast cancer now? It used to be an older woman's disease, but every day I hear about another young woman being diagnosed. It's horrifying.

Kris, I just adore your love, energy and spirit. Thank you for all that fantastic, generous info too. On the subject of kale, I'm not sure if its just me but most people I know who start out eating kale, they have a love/hate relationship so I hope you dont mind me sharing a link for kale chips. This guy is so funny and everytime I watch it, it makes me laugh and we can always do with a laugh ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmSalIewh5ymsNk
