For sloped ceilings we like to use hinged ceiling brackets from Legrand VAN GEEL. No need for bending rods!

I know you use a bandsaw to cut the strut just got a Milwaukee metal circular cuts though it like butter leaves a great factory edge. We also hang a m10 rod off the ceiling and use it to stick the laser to for setting the strut Hights. Great video keep them coming 👊🏻

Mate, nice installation. I do these big cables on a daily basis in Germany. Please look into the Erico Caddy Rodlock System. What a nice invention. I bet that you are even faster with these.

How come all cable trays that we see British sparks use are suspended like this? In Sweden we use supports that goes up from the middle of the tray or ladder. That brackets gives us the ability to lay the cable up instead of necessarily having to pull it through all those brackets that you use.

why don't you get some non spray galv paint '? and just dip it, spraying the cap or a board seems wasteful and your still breathing the aerosolised paint.

That works great too, both applications have their benefits - this was an old can of spray I’ve had for a while so made sense to use it up 👍🏼

@@residualelectrical at least you don't accidentally kick it over with the spray can method.

Nice Mike , we have just finished the containment to the workshop and server room of a tech company . Trunking , basket and tray hung from the ceiling on trapezes . Be wary of the large cables pushing the trapezes when you bend them and tie them in .

Nice job! We got the cables in on Friday actually, had to brace a few bits here and there to make sure the 185’s didn’t destroy the place haha!
