Yeah but the sad thing is due to global warming they have to run from red foxes which try to eat them or kill them. Since the ice is warming up the red foxes which originally could not enter the colder parts are now coming in and killing the arctic foxes.

Lots of arctic foxes get killed by red foxes nowadays. Red foxes are moving north into arctic fox territory due to warming temperature.

@Dencake
@Dencake 7 жыл бұрын
They would be Red Foxes that adapted to arctic atmosphere (but they are moving up in the first place because it's getting warmer and not arctic as much anymore), instead of shrinking by half and changing their genes entirely.

If I was there, I probably would have snapped photos of both the arctic fox and the red fox myself, maybe video tape them on my go pro camera. Though I suppose it can be understandable for the workers not to notice the foxes considering that they were probably busy working (work can have that kind of effect), though that arctic fox seems to be a regular there so I wouldn't be surprised if the workers do snap photos of them when they are on their breaks. On a side note, I went to the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma a few days ago and I snapped some pictures of the arctic foxes they have there, even some videos of them too.

I've thought that for years! Humans suck. We're so slow, clumsy and defenseless. The only reason were not extinct is our brains. We kill everything, including our selves. Animals are SO much better.
@liisatamm8055
@liisatamm8055 8 жыл бұрын
Yeah! Every day I tell my dog that I am sorry that I am human😟 Why we have to act like we are so much better than animals and our lives are so much more important. I can't understand that. I am really sad that I have born to be a human, but I think the only thing I can do now, is to be the good human and help other animals.
@Dwkim91
@Dwkim91 8 жыл бұрын
Well, here's so fun facts for you to feel better about yourself. 1. Humans may not be able to reach the top speeds that many four-legged animals can, but we can almost always outrun them. Early humans employed a tactic called persistence hunting where we would literally chase an animal until it tires out (which doesn't take long at all). Then, we kill it. That wasn't necessarily a learned behavior. That was evolution. Our bipedalism (walking on two feet) came about because we could outrun prey. 2. Evolutionarily speaking, developing a brain as relatively large as ours is almost impossible. You see, developing an organ that sucks up 20% of your calories is almost too costly to justify the change. It is much easier to develop a better sense of smell than an oversized brain. But we humans managed. We're also the versatile creatures because of it. Throughout the Ice Age and beyond, we were able to survive despite having no fur, no nothing because we had the uncanny ability to use and alter nature (aka create fire, use furs of other animals, build sturdier homes, etc.). 3. We kill everything? Well, perhaps. But that's evolution for you. We have the ability to level whole mountains and cut down whole forests. Animals are beautiful and magnificent creatures, but we are simply using the oldest law of the world: survival of the fittest. Still, the fact that we're trying to help the environment more and more just shows you that we may be greedy but there is still good in humanity. We have a sense of morality, which animals do not share. 4. We kill ourselves? Uhh, what planet do you live on. Animals kill each other all the time. Nature is one big warzone between and within species. Millions of ants battle for territory, resources, and even slave labor (yes, some ant species take slaves). Some cats toy with their prey before mercilessly slaughtering them. Apes abuse female apes for infidelity or for sex. If you think about it, at least humans feel bad for killing each other. Animals couldn't care less.

+Destiny Kydd. Wait what do you mean were defenceless if we can kill everything?

Dwkim91 i dont feel a better human now, sorry😯 I still think that animals are wonderful creatures, such as dogs, cats and other animals. And we eat them. We eat even dogs and cats, although they haven't done anything to us.
