I once almost choked with raisin - but my reflex of belching and coughing managed to kick it out of my throat. Interestingly, my parents being right next to me didn't even notice something was wrong with me. Another time, I almost choked with a small LEGO brick I tried to separate - it didn't go to my throat, but it was stuck on the back of my tongue and I couldn't get it off that easily, but finally made it - with my fingers after I secured it from falling in my throat. So I probably never choked in my life, but I know it's really not nice thing...

My parents were in the room but didn't notice where my brother found it funny for some reason and started laughing which made me yell at him for being stupid after I saved myself.

Ngl it’s scary asf especially when no one is around you. Happened to me a couple months ago and I was trying so hard not to panic. My arms and hands weren’t working, and man it felt like a game. I was processing everything that would help me. Then I looked at the counter and I started to get dizzy and the last thought from there was to body slam into the counter. Which I did, it helped, but it was incredibly painful lol. I fell to the ground and just laid there coughing. I was laughing and crying, thinking I could’ve died by a Pizzahut’s Buffalo (medium) boneless wing...

It's really scary to think about. I've choked on a peppermint twice. It was really uncomfortable and I couldn't breathe. I was terrified but I was able to cough it out pretty quickly. The second time, it was much harder. I drank some many cups of water until I was able to swallow the peppermint down. I've avoided eating peppermints ever since.

if upright gravity is working against a choking victim. TURNING choking victim upside down has saved lives too! as this immediately has gravity working in your favor! way easy to save my little niece who was chocking. turned upside down gravity helped pulled the choke hazard right on out eazy peezee!

If a rice is struck then you should press left nostril and push exhale hard with ur right nostril as you do to take out cough from nose. And rice comes out through your nose. I've saved my life like this many times. Trust me if coughing didn't worked this will work.

What I do is I cough really hard and I had to do it for 2 days in a row and did it myself both times, it’s obvious to know someone’s choking because if their an other age kid or adult then they will most likely know how to show people that they are choking and your face shows it because it’s not normal to turn pale or blue and not being able to talk and trying to cough it up makes it obvious too

I have this one experience when I was in 3rd grade.....
