Great question Steph. I don't really find disadvantages, they're super similar. I think it's primarily so Instagram can group accounts via business vs creators. It's super easy to switch back so you can always try it out and switch back if you don't like it as much. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!

Please help!!! I have a personal account, and now I would like to add a "creator account" not a business account. This will be a faceless creator account and I want to start from scratch with zero followers (and don't want friends on my personal account to know. Can you help me with what steps to take? On android I don't see "Account type and tools" or "tools and controls". There is no 'For professionals' Category between 'Your orders and Fundraisers' and 'More info and Support'.

Guys!!first you have to switch your account into personal account and you will able to find account types and tools option in the settings and then switch to a professional account, and guys don't forget when you click the video creator or the creator or Digital creator option, you have to select the option that shown above (view on profile)
