So. Much. Cape. Flipping. It’s a wonder how Gerard didn’t slip between takes. Not the best idea to sword fight in it, but he does pull off the swooshing moments that it’s a character of its own, both on and off screen lol.

If I could Sword Fight like The Phantom in scenes just like this from the film it would be interesting and quite impressive to master those moves and action sequences like how Gerard Butler nailed this scene to perfection and it could've easily worked in the stage musical as well
