How to Sync a Slider with VRChat Udon

Yo, this tutorial' is so good! Super clear and easy to follow, nice work! Slight correction: at 2:42 you said to make sure to hit 'send change' on the 'set syncedValue' node to send a change, but that only maters if you are using an 'event, on variable change' node. If you are and don't use that, it will only play for other clients, and not the local player. That being said, in this case you are using the node 'event, on destabilization' node with a custom event, so it doesn't do anything and doesn't mater I look forward to seeing more ^^

Here is a small detail I missed, when first joining the world it's not necessarily synced, you can fix this by using a SendCustomEvent in the Start function calling your custom event, in my case, updateMaterial

great tutorial. just a short question. How do you make a duplicate of the menu and then sync the two. so that when you change one slider, it will be changed at the second menu as well. Do you know that perhaps?

Hmm.. That is a bit tricky. I can't immediately think of a solution of detecting what slider was changed and act accordingly. Depending on the situation, you could instead teleport just the one menu around instead of having multiple duplicates controlling the same thing.

Hey I know theres a Chance no one is replying to this since its 7 Months old But i thought Since im so lost best to at least try Why When dragging from my Float (Float-Get value) Can i not find Set Synced value Its driving me mad i cannot find it anywhere Im so lost I have tried over and over to copy and learn from this video but im stuck at that one point I followed every step but i cannot get the Set syncedvalue to show up at all

The "Set syncedValue" node is called that because that's what I named my float variable. If you named it something else, then it will be called something else. If you are still having issues, feel free to send a message on discord, my username is ",krajsyboys" there as well

I managed to Get it working However Now the Float is not working So great video Thank you my issue now is the slider will not work So I need to remake it but im grateful for you clearing that up @@krajsyboys
