I used to skate every week. Then knee ACL surgery caused me to stop. I've been watching your videos and decided to get back out there. I'm really rusty (Ahteedee), and legs are extra weak. However, I'm going to keep at it. Shout out to Skate Zone 71 and USA East skating rink, here in Columbus Ohio.

You make everything look so easy! When I'm watching your tutorials, I'm always noticing something helpful that you're not even teaching. This time I was noticing how your boots hang over your trucks when you were doing the backwards crossovers and also when you were just standing. I think I really need to adjust my trucks. I have such a hard time just standing in one spot without moving forward, and I also struggle with standing crossovers (where you're just in a line). I think now that some of that is because my trucks are too tight. I'll adjust and see. Thanks Malik! In a future video, can you talk about the wheels YOU use outside vs inside and also why you have the different wheels on different places when you're rink skating. I would love to hear about all that from your perspective. Skate love to ya!!

Indoor wheels 98-101a make that noise on the ground outside but outdoor wheels 78-85a won't screech like that. It's a lil harder for me to t stop with some soft wheels lol.

One thing I have issues with is when I transition from front to back sometimes I tend to fall forward and my toe stops stop me from actually falling. Any tips? Thanks!
