Thank you for this! We went over this in a class today but the instructor went through it so fast that I didn't know wtf was going on. 🤣 You're awesome!

Great video!!😝 In part 2 please explain your foot mechanics… when are you on your heels to turn, and when are you on your toes. Can’t wait for the follow up!!!!🙏🏽

I was looking forward to part 2 for those reasons too! However, I found this video from Andvilsk8s Zen Skate School that breaks down the movement and weight shifting of pivots very well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXOzmZujZ5yAfLs. Hope it helps!

Thank you for the video! I think it would have been helpful if you told us when you are on the balls of your feet vs. the heels. I noticed you switched at different times.

This video is very funny and insightful . Love it . However , is it possible to share the mechanics of feet and body coordination ? I have to understand what my feet are actually doing example , no pressure on the balls of feet or toes should be up . I hope this makes sense .

Thats a great request. I'll see about adding a close up view when I'm going over certain movements and balance

Thank you! I noticed sometimes you’re in your heels and sometimes on your toes. Like for example for the begginer level you’re on your toes then around 3 min ish in you’d switch from heels and toes the rest of the vid. How do you know when do to heel vs toe?:)

Hey what's going on diamond mr. OG Silver Fox in Brooklyn. I'm having a little problem with the pivoting transition on one leg due to my sciatica, can you give me any pointers most likely I'll have to strengthen my legs oh my gluteus maximus sciatic is no joke but when I'm skating it's like I don't have sciatica anymore it's weird when I sit and watch TV beside if it kicks in if I can live on skates that would have been ideal

The autofocus is wildin haha. You could try auto locking it maybe. Ive been working on pivots and crazy legs rn. I don’t think my legs are ready because I still get mad wobbles when I go too fast on my toes. ❤
@DiamondWalker2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha yeah I should of manually did it. Slow it down and your legs will build that muscle memory

Are you always turning/pivoting on the balls of your feet or do you switch the heels sometimes?
@DiamondWalker2 жыл бұрын
So sometimes I switch to my heel when I’m free styling just to change it up
@jeffgoggin13942 жыл бұрын
This is a perfectly timely video! This is exactly what I was looking for and just about right where I'm at in my skating! Thanks so much! Ps what wheels are you rocking? They look small? Do you like them outdoors?
@DiamondWalker2 жыл бұрын
No problem I got you! I’m wearing suregrip velvet wheels and they’re supposed to be for indoor only So I wouldn’t suggest them for outdoor skating.
