I just saw this young man skate in Raleigh this past weekend. Trust and believe this is only a small portion of this man can do! Best skater I have seen in years; skated all styles from JB to Artistic and the spin game.... crazzzzzy!

This is the one that clicked for me. I’ve been trying to spin for ages and just accepted that I will never be a spinner. I can see what I’m doing wrong, leading in to it and that I was setting myself up wrong, and this is what I needed to elevate🙌🏻 Also it’s weird because you’re local and I def think I’ve seen you before

Great tutorial. I can't wait to get into the intermediate and then advanced spins! Your tutorials have really helped me out. Thanks for helping the skating community!

I love the way you do this spins but what’s even better is the way you explain every single thing. I will try to learn this spins, because they seem so easy to do, so simple, but in fact it’s wery hard to learn them. Practice makes it perfect. Thank you for this tutorial.

Thanks! I most definitely appreciate this tutorial. The demonstration of the different level of spins was done very well. You made it a lot more understandable and gained a new subscriber.💪🏾

Glad it helped! I forgot to mention that your knees should always be bent with skating!

Thanks for this tutorial Malik! I've struggled with getting a clean intermediate spin- wheels catching because as you pointed out, my feet are too close and I get the 'weeble wobbles but they don't fall down' because I'm doing something wonky with my arms. Chest level. Got it. Can't wait to get these cleaned up this week. Keep the vids coming dude- they're just getting better and better!

Mater Tutorial! BUT Ummmmm...at my age (53) - The Intermediate spin going on my toes may cause the loss of countless cool points :-) And the advanced spin, going down bending my knees like that...they don't do that anymore. So, I will stay in my lane, and add extra flavor to my beginner spin. But please keep sharing these video's....I can continue to dream. Hahahahahah

I just had an..um.. 'milestone birthday' with my best friend and we skated for the first time in decades. I remember why I loved it so much as a kid! Don't let the years hold you back, just be safe and have fun. 🤩❤🎉

You think you could make some POV videos of you skating around the rink doing some of the basic JB moves? Just videos of your legs and feet at a medium or slow pace. It will make some of us feel like we are skating with you and I can learn the moves better. I am also trying to learn the edges of the skates so I can understand how the skates respond to certain moves. Thanks !

Thank you 🙏 I’m a total beginner dance (wantaby) skater. I am a park skater who rides with loose and wide trucks. My question for you is should i have my trucks on the tighter side to learn not only spins but other dance moves as well? Oh, I bought a pair of healed skates with small trucks and hard outdoor heels. Well they are 97 bones team wheels they feel soft to me but not the kind you ride on rough roads with. I will be learning at the tennis courts. Thanx again, CJ

On the intermediate spin how do you keep spinning and not slow down. I heard about pumping on a toe spin to keep spinning is that true??

I usually spin a lot to build my spin tolerance. You can also do a neck maneuver to hold in place until your body reaches a turn point. But majority of the time, I just spin and build tolerance

Can you do a tutorial for that the spin i see a lot of people doing including you. Im not sure what you call it. Its 1 quick spin you do while your in motion going backwards or forward, and it looks like you use 1 foot to start it but it happens fast. That's the spin i want a do bad and its killing me. 😂 keep dropping the bangers for us bro.
