I appreciate it, this actually helped out a bit and gave me a few ideas. Currently the biggest challenged I face is actually getting the views on a video in order for it to be seen and promoted, if no one sees it then your content also doesn't matter; in other words, this is a huge catch 22 if you can't figure out your tags or how to bring in your views. Incoming trial and error :) Cheers

When you're talking about tags, is this for putting in the description box? Or the proper tags section? And would you recommend tags like "how to tags your video" or "how" "to" "tag" "your" "video"? (If that makes sense) haha :)

+Natasha Rose Definite the proper tags section! KZbin are really big on not putting any tags in your description. I'd only include 'keywords' that people might use in their searches, so 'how to' and 'tag' 'video' might be words I'd use in the tags, because people would be using those keywords in their searches. Think of tags in context, 'Your' doesn't mean much in the context of a search, whereas 'tag' is the actual topic being searched on. Does that make sense!? A little hard to explain! In the end, just add tags that are relevant - so 'to' and 'your' aren't really directly related / relevant words 'how to', 'tag' & 'video' sound a lot more relevant to the video, and are key words people might be using in their searches to find your video. A little rambly haha, it's early in the morning here, but I hope that this makes sense! xoxoxo

hi, sorry but i am a bit confused, when u tag it , is when u upload it, there is a box below that u can tag in right? do i need to hashtag it,or just write the keywords in it? do u need to tag ur name ( channel name, name) ? or just anything related to the video?

June June when you're on a desktop and you go to edit your video, the box is under "info and settings." You don't need to hashtag, just type the words or phrases in that box (it appears under your description when you're editing) and press enter and save changes when you're done. Hope that helps :)

Hi. I started a youtube channel and I know that with the editing and quality of my videos I know I can improve, but I am struggling with having views and subscribers and I dont know much about the tricks to get more views. I feel like no one is finding my videos. This video helps a lot. But I have a question; do you personally paid to have google ad words when you started? I've heard of ppl doing that to get all the views. I dont know if I should do it. I wasn't looking to invest any money at this moment.
