When You Take Apart A Baitcasting Reel
Lay out the parts of your reel in the order you took them off. It is helpful if you take photos or videos as you proceed to use as a reference for reassembly. KastKing provides a schematic for all fishing reels and most schematic drawings are also available on the KastKing website kastking. com.
What Tools You Will Need To Break Down A Baitcaster
The tools for taking apart fishing reels are simple. In this how to demonstration, all that was needed are a small Philips head screwdriver and a 10 mm socket wrench. You will also need some good quality gear grease and ball bearing oil for reassembly. Do not use WD40 inside your fishing reel. It is also a cleaner and will wash away the gear grease in your fishing reel whether a baitcast reel or spinning reel. Troy also tells you how much lube to use in your fishing reels.

This is good as far as it goes, but it takes about 30 minutes to describe how to completely disassemble a baitcaster, assuming you don't rush your narrative or fast-forward parts of the procedure. Why not do a longer version?
