This has to be one of the best YT channels for Fuji and cameras in general. This guy is providing information I don't see any other channel offer, and I've watched a ton of them. On top of that he's also very entertaining.

Chris and this channel is the reason I went back to the shop and re-bought a Fuji I had returned because I thought it was confusing! I now can’t imagine using anything other than a Fuji and have tried many camera brands. I finally found my camera brand and my love of photography has increased so much. Thank you

I also recommend turning down noise reduction to the lowest because the noise in Fuji cameras looks much better than the muddy noise reduction. Sometimes even ISO 12.800 can look very good with the noise, just like an analoge photo.

After a lot of research and with a budget in mind I purchased a Fujifilm XT-2 in beautiful condition with a shutter count of 5000. I also purchased a Sigma 56mm 1.4 lens. At nearly 70 I’m looking forward to many years of taking pictures with it. You’re my number one stop to go to for information and help. Thankyou for your amazing tutorials. Regards Peter. Great video. NB: I have experimented a lot with SAINT ISO--works great but be aware that since you are essentially in manual exposure mode, if you are shooting where "preview exposure in manual mode" is off (which is often, particularly when shooting flash), if you exceed iso capabilities at either end, the shots will be over or underexposed but not look that way in the view finder. You can tell in advance because the exposure meter in the VF will show + or - values. This was truly confusing until I realized what was going on. My advice is to make sure that, when SAINT ISO is used, "preview exposure in manual mode" is "on"...or watch the exposure meter carefully in the VF. Thanks again for all of the great videos, Chris.

Prefix! This was a comment I left on another channel, but I think relevant for a video! Explain how DF! This was on your Brk focus stacking lens! I also have to comment on the latter part of video, when you start to adjust the aperture, the old rule of thumb, is that the smaller the aperture f32 f22 the greater the depth of Field, however this dos depend on the Lens size, so wide lens the sweet spot will be different as will the softness at the edges, I remember 50 plus years ago learning* how to photograph a wild animal at the zoo using depth of field to remove the bars and mesh of the wires as it made them disappear, something that I have seen on any KZbin and is very effective if you get the right pose!

Thanks for the interesting discussion. If you get the chance could you give a quick long term review of the premium X-T5 cage you have. Wondering if you managed to get that fancy shutter button extra working correctly, and does the cage finish and leather handle last with ware? I am still thinking about one of these if they are still available, but was originally put off by some peoples negative comments

Thanks, Chris. You are the guru of Fujifilm! I love your videos and they keep me inspired. However, I am falling out of love with Fuji. Since my upgrade from XT3 to XT5, I have had endless issues which I can’t seem to solve. Yes, I keep up with the firmware. Sometimes my pictures have artefacts and the focus is soft throughout. I didn’t have the issues with the XT3. I have asked various people at Fuji and they have suggested everything from changing the compression to the IBIS to NR. These issues only happen some of the time and it is hugely frustrating. I know the focus is an issue but I don’t want to give up. I have used Fuji since the XT10 but I am running out of patience. Any suggestions?

A small hint: try using a tripot when you can. IBIS is good but in my experience with Fuij, you will always get a slightly lower sharpness with IBIS on. And of course, switch it off when using a tripod.

I was pulling (what remains of) my hair out trying to get the Auto ISO to work on my X-T3 and it just wouldn't work even though I had the ISO dial on A. Apparently if you have either front or rear command dials set to ISO control, you need to scroll them all the way up before they turn to "ISO Auto 1".

What is a bridge camera?
@ThereelOfficial
@ThereelOfficial 11 ай бұрын
@@inquisitvem6723 Bridge cameras are cameras that fill the niche between relatively simple point-and-shoot cameras and interchangeable-lens cameras such as mirrorless cameras and single-lens reflex cameras (SLRs). They are often comparable in size and weight to the smallest digital SLRs (DSLR), but lack interchangeable lenses, and almost all digital bridge cameras lack an optical viewfinder system. The phrase "bridge camera" has been in use at least since the 1980s, and continues to be used with digital cameras. The term was originally used to refer to film cameras which "bridged the gap" between point-and-shoot cameras and SLRs.

Greetings, I have been following your videos and learning Fujifilm Camera. I have entry level Fujifilm X-A3, the quality of photos is awesome. Recently I have bought a used Fujinon 27 mm f 1:2.8 lens , but the lens is showing error, I updated the firmware the problem still persists. The lens is in mint condition and working fine on X-T3 body of previous owner. My kit lens Fujinon 15-45 and 35 mm f 1.4 manual lens are working pretty well on Fuji X-A3 body. I am disappointed with it. May be new firmware update from Fujifilm my resolve the problem?? I have tried to reset the camera , took the battery and re mounted but nothing works.
