Love your video’s and learned a lot about the PS3 from you. I collect PS3 and have all models. I recently purchased a CECHG01 to complete my collection. I did a full de-lid. The temp’s definitely improved, but RSX was running hotter than cpu by 2c. Decided to experiment with fans. Put a 15 blade from a 60GB and the results were amazing. Now as you know Sony increases the fan from 20% to 29% on this model. It actually cools off that much when you’re done playing a game the fan will back down to 20%. I played the Last OF US for about an hour. Temp’s never went above 61c at 29% fan speed. If you put the fan on auto in Webman MOD temps will drop to 53c on CPU and 48c on RSK at 29% fan speed while in the XMB. This is amazing. Temp’s are as good as my 3000 series slim. Also forgot to mention that my RSX runs at same temp of CPU while playing The last of us. It used to run hotter than the CPU. My room temperature was at 73°F while performing this test. So not super hot or super cold. Looking forward to watching more of your videos! Thanks man!

@@NSC-Modz I understand. I thought maybe you tested the difference(using your temp sensors with the digital display. I saw on other videos)? I am asking because there is a big controversy, that plates with vents are bad for proper cooling the inside components. And the only tests I found about that, tested only the ambient temperature but not internal(as much as possible).
