I just replaced my CSC this past weekend with a Zspeed HD CSC, also put a Southbend stage 2 clutch, pressure plate and lightweight flywheel. The whole job took me only about 5 hours total. Love working on the Z, super easy to do anything on it!

How do you like the heavy duty zspeed csc? And how hard is it to replace? My csc just went out and I'm going with the z1 csc delete. I'm stil researching to see which route I go.

Brock have you removed starter motor and crankshaft position sensor before removing the transmission? It says in service manual to remove them but but I believe it's not needed. Appreciate your advice!

I removed the starter but the crankshaft position sensor should not have to be removed.

Legacy.mp4 used a bunch of extensions and swivel joints with a breaker bar and cheater pipe😂 beware you might end up breaking a couple of swivel joints so buy extra if you need to.

DarudeOwnageZ I have a 24 inch extension with a deep 17 mm socket. And a swivel and then another 12 inch extension, even with my breaker bar it will not budge .

Legacy.mp4 I remember using an impact tool to do it but I advice not to use it cause you risk stripping or breaking the nut.

Hope you get this message scene we are having issues removing the bell housing from the engine , All the boats have been removed everything is ready to go we have split it and 8th of an inch and it appears to be stuck on something can you Please advise any ideas thank you

make sure all the bolts are out on the bottom. I didn't say it in my vid but you can take the shifter off its like 3 bolts and just pull it tell it comes out.

Hi my car is down so I figured why not replace the shift knob and boot cover and stuff like that so while I was taking out the oem shift knob it was hard to get out. I feel I have damaged my gearbox is there a way I can know for sure without the car running ?

Are you putting in another OEM CSC? I know there's a few aftermarket slaves you can get which are apparently longer lasting, and Z1 motorsports actually has a CSC elimination kit which brings the slave external to the transmission to make it easier to replace.

Ive noticed I could damn near take my entire Z apart with a 10mm 😆
