i am an old school custom head light guy , i have been in the 12v industry installing /selling /modifying my entire adult life even now at 50 i just bought me a c300 benz , that unfortunately came with the not so fancy halogen head lights , and every time i see another c on the road with the premium lighting , yeah it pisses me off and i wanty to crack open the headlights and basically do everything you have done to the gtr but on my little w205. I am really impressed on how smart you are in the way you provide the instructions step by step and where to get all the parts . At first glance any installer , an i include myself in this , would immediately see dollar signs thinking how much money can be made . I been watching your content for a few hours and i am watching the evolution and growth of your business and i must commend you , you have really found a niche. and you have talent. so that guarantees you will have work. anyways enough but kissing I want to purchase enough of everything from ghozt modules , connectors, power led ,in bulk , circuit boards...... Hey Chris, seriously want to thank you for this video! I've done a few retrofit projects in the past, but was really hesitant to do the headlights on my 370Z. This video (as well as the one you made about using RetroRubber) made the entire process so much easier. Thanks a ton for sharing your knowledge!

Chris, you make this look so easy. Thankful for your experience and expertise and you're very thorough without making things sound complicated. A lot of the details you talk about I would so easily overlook. On my first retrofit, man I want to town with pads and cleaning solutions on the inside and no wonder why no matter what I do now, the lenses are just not as clear as they should be. So thanks for that piece of advice!

I just went out to a local u pull junk yard and got a second set of headlights, best decision imo , highly recommend to everybody, you get to keep my stock headlights if ever you want to re sell the car , you can take your time building your custom lights

I am absolutely loving your channel! I've done a few mods myself in the past, and getting ready to do another on a recently acquired car. I've had a lot of trial and error over the years, and learned quite a lot! I have a process I use to restore lenses that I can comfortably guarantee for 5 years, and I've been super-tempted lately to break the market and post a tutorial. Just subbed to your channel! hey chris, can the clear cast portion on the 370's light be polished out to be less yellow after stripping the chrome paint, or is this just the color of the plastic its cast out of? about to tear into my z's headlights and want to do a switchback strip under the long flat section it if its possible to remove the yellow tint, if not guess its going on top like everyone else, thanks, keep up the awesome vids.

Chris this is an awesome built. I remember that GTR and it was the first time I have seen anything like that. Will you be painting from the back or the front? Have seen a few 370z with the front painted. Never the back. As always can’t wait for the next video 😬

The amber lenses inside of the headlight, the “Zoomerang” I can’t find anywhere to replace them with clear lenses. I’ve looked every where. Klearz, DK Moulds. Where can I find clear lenses for profile pivot amber lenses inside the headlight.

I would like to do this to my Z, but would you recommend sanding the chrome a little bit and priming it before applying paint? Should I clear coat after I paint it? Also, is there a specific brand that is best recommended for headlight modification? Sorry for all the questions but I would like to get this done right the first time... it is also not too easily reversible..

How do you open permasealed headlights? I remember you mentioning in a previous video that there is a tool for it

Permaseal are a pain to open you can either cut the headlight or just use a lot of heat
