Hi guys those bus “terminals” are only temporary as they are building 2 new large terminals with indoor ticketing and seating. I also love that Le Bon restaurant I used to go there all the time when I was in Tirana.

Oh awesome. Good to know, thanks for sharing! I figured as much and will be a welcome addition to Tirana! it takes time with a history like Albania has to get things going infrastructure wise! Yeah its a wonderful cafe/restaurant isn't it! Thanks for watching and commenting we appreciate your support.

It was a pretty smooth process all around really! Easy to get a bit spooked when you haven't done it before as you don't get a lot (if any) information from the driver or at the border. But you don't really need it... the driver takes care of it and it went really well. Hope everyone else has the same experience!

I'm going to Ohrid from Tirana for a wedding in September. This video has really helped! Was there a particular website you'd recommend when booking a bus?

Great and informative video, I am planning to go to Tirana next month and this was really helpful as I will be planning to travel to Ohrid too, I had a few questions. 1). How did you go from Ohrid Bus station to the city centre/your hotel? If by Taxi then how much did it cost? 2). Did you visit Skhoder? If Yes then from which bus station did you take the bus cause I heard there are different bus terminals in Tirana, how did you reach that bus terminal if you went to Skhoder. 3). Are Euros widely accepted in Albania and Macedonia? 4). Did you buy a local SIM card for these places or you activated International roaming from your home country?

Thank you. 1. We had a pick up from our Airbnb host so I cannot help with that. Sorry. 2. No we did not 3. We can’t really say as we operated with the local currencies cash wise and paid with card etc. 4. No we did not sorry.

Thank you for the video. I am planning to go to Ohrid from Tirana next month. Can you tell me when you filmed the video? There is no direct bus from Tirana to Ohrid from November to April, so I am asking because I am curious about the exact information.

It is possible that there is a lower frequency of trips during certain times of the year so I would verify that prior. Happy Travels

Very good video and useful information. Quick question, are there money exchanges places there, like euros to the local currency?. Thanks and Hi from Galway, Ireland.

I can't say for certain as we paid by local currency and credit card but I'm sure you can easily find somewhere. Happy Travels.

Loud, distracting and irritating background music; I wish vloggers stayed in more hotels (of varying categories) rather than Airbnb which I never have done and never will. Video is short and very generic without a lot of useful information. Score: 2.150 (Out of 10.000)

Hiya! I have to agree with some of the critiques! Just a few things to reply to this the majority of us travel vloggers are people traveling the world fulltime wanting to share our travels and try to help the next person along. We, (specifically, I - Jenn) have had to learn about filming, editing, audio, being comfortable on camera, angles, production, lighting etc...so so much to learn and it takes a LONG time...for some us ha like me) This video is from well over a year ago so I'm sure if you watch our newer content you would see a drastic change in all aspects. We stay in a variety of accommodations but when we travel slower we tend to stay in Airbnb's as they are more affordable in the long term stays and also more comfortable (more room and cooking facilities etc and for us also for teaching - we both have taught english online in the past) And honestly some of our nicest most affordable and best experiences have been with Airbnb especially for luxury stays...and some of our worst experiences have been through cheaper hotel stays. We try to highlight both budget and bougie travel...luxury and local...Thanks for taking the time to comment but possibly in the future you could consider opening your critiques with something kind or positive to say...but just a thought.
