how to takeout the coil on a John Deere f525

Bought new ignitor today from John Deere . [$186.00 Canadian]. engine fired right up.I did check my grounds and wiring before I bought that..I decided to check the Ohms resistance on both . The new one had 9.48 ohms and the old one had 1810 ohms. Felt good to see that before I installed it!! So that is one test before buying a new ignitor. I removed the ground cable and the dipstick tube before replacing it. Gves you a lotmore rom to install that tiny screw.

someone told m e that if you pull off the bottom plate on the engine { i think its about 6 bolts that hold it on } there is a built in oil screen filter that needs to be taken out and cleaned. Have you ever done this ?

It looks really good to take the coil off I got my coil off but I cannot get no spark on my F525 but I need a video for trying to get spark I cannot get no spark

Most often the Ignitor. I have the exact same mower without spark . Tomorrows job. I'm buying an ignitor from John Deere,unless itcosts a fortune.
