Key Names, Chord Shapes & Capos! In Part 1 of this video Kai demonstrates how to talk about keys and transpose for Flamenco Accompaniment - a simple but confusing concept. This includes what to name things once you start using a capo. We use capos all the time in flamenco, especially when accompanying singers. So the question comes up, how do you determine what to call a chord or a note once you’re using a capo? Is an F Chord still an F if we have a capo on the fifth fret? Fortunately, the answer is actually relatively simple in the flamenco world, as Kai explains here.
