I'm glad to see you on KZbin and with my most recent rescue she did come from a store originally, I was told she would apparently charge at people's hands and bite them but she never once bit me shes literally so sweet and knows how to ask to be held

Iv had my hamster for about 1.5 years now but I haven't tamed her completely yet as she doesn't like any technics to being handled before, your video has suited her really well and I can now pick her up and handle her! Thank you!!!!!!!❤❤❤

I LOVE how you put this. I am about to get our 1st hamster. I'm in charge of taming and training. But! I have taimed ferral cats before. It took at least a month, but I was able to figure it out. Even though that was over a decade ago. I still look back on those memories fondly. I'm really looking forward to having the same experience with our winter white!!! I pick him up tomorrow morning!!!

Great video! So glad to see you on this platform as well as others! Most of my hamsters have been rescues & I’ve always been a believer of letting your hamster dictate what they’re ready for in the taming process. Sometimes it’s two steps forward and a step back, but slow and steady works best. Very excited for a possible adoption from you in the coming months!!!

Eekkkk❤️🥰❤️ oh man seeing the most BEAUTIFUL hamster species 🩵winter whites🩵 in your videos will make it SO hard waiting till next year to get on your list for a July (Minnesota) delivery. We have a Campbell now, that was being attacked in the pet store. We couldn't leave him there... BUT he's NOTHING like our winter white who died😞 but we're patient, and love him still. Even though biting us is his favorite hobby🤦♀️🤷♀️ so your video is MUCH NEEDED!!!

That bird study is very confusing yet not at the same time! I will definitely be doing some of these with my hopefully soon to be hamster in May! I just need to start brainstorming some cute names. My last hamster his name was Takito, and my friend just asked if I was going to keep ma,i f my hamsters Mexican food names and I just replied “Yep! They’re adorable names”

Hey, I do all of these things. But my winter white is still young, (she is black and small) she’s my first one that I’ve had that is a dwarf. I’m not sure why she doesn’t eat out of my hand but she eats what I give her in her cage after I place it in there. She’s very scared and always shaking. I try to tame her every day at least 2 or 3 times. By place my hand in, and all the others. But she always keeps digging in her bedding. Is there another way that I can show her that I mean no harm, without her hiding in her bedding not even trying?

You can learn so much from other animals too. Their eyesight is so bad too. Try treats like chicken, meal worms etc.
