When Scorched Earth, Center and Ragnarok released i was ok with the new creatures and i tought they are a pretty good start to different dlcs, when Aberation released i was like it is strange but yk its a forgotten underground world, these things are acceptable but then extinction and genesis came and ruined the ark experience for me..... i love the other free dlcs tho

The Oasisaur only eats the foliage from potted plants. Using a shovel and pots in your inventory you can dig bushes into the pots once they are green they can be used as food for the Oasisaur.

You only need one person in tribe to own the tall tales to tame it and then everyone can use it and it can be admin tamed in single player or unofficial servers

The fact that they actually allow you to find Dino’s/treasure maps in the game but then don’t let you interact with them unless you have the dlc is pretty shady tbh. It’s bad enough they show you the stuff in the engram page saying “hey look at all the cool stuff we could have if we bought the package” but then they go a step further to have the stuff in the game but don’t allow you to interact with them lol. Game devs are so shady nowadays

I have a quick question. Does buying Bob’s tall tales unlock future paid content, like the dlc for aberration and extinction? I havent been keeping up with community crunches so idk if this is known info or not. Also, it’s quite the steep pricing ($45 au) for this dlc, which doesn’t seem very worth it.

I didn't buy ASA because I felt it was a scummy move to full price it and everything else for players who already owned ASE. Gone are the days of Wildcard caring about the fanbase since, as usual Corporations come slithering in when they see a successful IP they can profit off of. For the record, Syn experiences a pretty bad bug in this. A few other ark-tubers have made tutorials for this, but a few of their baby tames actually survived the taming process, so it would seem there's a bug currently that sometimes causes them to disappear. His advice still holds, however, that until this bug is fixed, or at least the trigger for it is discovered, you would be wise to "sacrifice" a creature you don't care for, in case you get ARK'D and it goes poof.

You can actually test whether or not it works via going into your DLC manager on steam and turning off the DLC

It easy to make it a war base. You just have to place cannon and turrets. And have 5 wyvern around it to keep it safe.

Not gonna argue with the not being free part, but this thing is better than a Quetzal imo. It’s not the fastest thing in the air, but it has way more space than a Quetzal to build, plus it generates a fair amount of resources for you. Again, it’s scummy that it’s essentially p2w, but calling a Quetzal better isn’t right.

@@Lordofyourfate neither is spawning in "acouple hundred wood" many justify cheats there own way. but many of us believe in the survival and the consequences of loosing a tame which is now removed. and you can easy have more than 1 especially if you can cryo them and just pull them out when there ready to use.

@@KeithElliott-zd8cx 1 rez per creature you have, and its not the point, not everything is about pvp. its about the survival, you fight, you loose, you die. being able to respawn makes it easy enough being able to bring our strongest dinos back from the dead removes any form of consequence from the game, who cares if i loose my max lvl mutated giga, if it dies i will just revive it again..... nothing matters anymore. and worst you only get it if you buy it those that dont, fuck em apparently

Still buggy as heck. Oasisaur can't be fed (doesnt gain food back from anything). Also trying to land in shallow water (less than a foot deep) kicks you off its back and forces it to fly up out of reach

Wierd. I tamed one last night with a tribemate and we got the sacrificed creature back! Plus, syntac doesn't mention it but the level of the creature you use does affect the taming process. Two tries with low level paracers failed, there was 10+ waves and low taming progress with each one.....and one try with a high level mutated tame was sucessful in only one wave.
