paper tape is commonly used as it holds markers better and for erasing marks (maybe one decides they dont like the marked off pattern) additional tape layers can be applied

I find it starts to peel off after a few minutes so I prefer duct tape :) everyone has their own way of doing it, what works for one person may not work for another

Took a long time making a base. Absolutely loved it, but then I didn't take my time with the taping, gave up since it didn't work, didn't even sew the pieces together, and stuck the fur on. It was terrible. Gonna redo the furring. It was my mistake and I'm gonna fix it today. :>

How do you know where to put your seams? I'm assuming it has to do with curvature, but I haven't been able to find any resources that touch on the subject.

the plastic wrap and the duct tape does not stick to the foam.. i don't know why but it's making the process hard

I prefer to just put the tape on the foam then carefully pull it off the foam when done (ik im 3 years late but whatever lol)

Because after, you cute out the pieces like for example a stripe would be cut out separately then you get a fur piece that size

I would highly recommend it. There are other ways to fur a head, but this method helps you waste less materials.

I honestly feel like, If I tried to sew it ( I have no experience with a sewing machine at all ) it would turn out worse than with hotglue...

My biggest mistake in pretty much every suit ive never made, was taping badly. I should really start taping without the head on the mannequin- i mean i also havent had clips before (first time using them will be tomorrow :D) so that is also something that probably makes my fur have some wrinkles
