How to taper pant legs

I got some Liberty Bibs (I’m in the US), I’m slightly above average height, and I’ve had these for about 6 months but I can’t stand how wide the entire leg is. I measured and it’s 10” all the way down. Which isn’t a big deal for my thighs but when I take off my boots and then have to go back outside with regular shoes on, they look goofy lol I’d like to have seen what those looked like on after you fixed them to see if I want to try and do something similar. I’m just a redneck from the south and am just wanting bibs to not be like JNCO pants lol

when I tapered there is an unmistakable bend above where my taper ended at the top

on the inside right above the taper...it looks like a failed taper job...it so obvious

Oh, i see…If the taper is pronounced it can happen, you could solve it by bringing the taper up as much as possible, basically straightening the line so you don’t get any folds
