How to Target Black Drum and Trout while Surf Fishing! Fishing Amelia Island State Park for Trout and Black Drum. I was able to catch a total of ten black drum before limiting out. Then I decided to switch to trout fishing. The trout are usually on fire right now in the surf so I made a rig with a 3 way swivel and tossed out a mud minnow. Fished it on the bottom and BOOM! Fishing for Trout is awesome.
After catching the Trout I packed up and headed home.
I was still using The Sinker Guy sinker. I choose to use the 2oz and it payed off.

Nice trout! I was heavy a kayak fisherman in the marsh/bay, but once I started surf fishing I never looked back, it’s so much more enjoyable and you can catch way more types and kinds of fish. Great video. Keep’em coming!

Great video as usual! I went to Rennworks and bought some of your sinkers and made a board for rigging per your instructions and I AM SOLD. I have used the sinkers twice and they worked great and I had two good trips. I live in St Marys so I went to Amellia Island and fished from Fort Clinch once and the public beach once. I do catch my own crabs sometimes. Remember in Fl you need to have a free license but you need its. I always just buy my clams, there is a season in Florida but I don’t know anything about it. I hope this helps!

You don’t have to promote their product, just show that there are other means of getting to some quality locations on the surf if you can’t drive on the beach . It would be helpful. I’m wanting to invest in a fat tire EBike and manipulate a cart / trailer hitch to access those prime locations without wearing myself out . I look forward to your video, I hope it goes viral .

This is a good fishing spot on given days. Sharks can for sure be caught here. Whiting and a few pompano should be there also!
