You may not have the highest view/subscriber count now, but keep at it. Very good quality content as well as sound information. Just a matter of time before the channel blows up. Looking forward to more from you sir.

"At the end of it you should be huffing and puffing a little bit - not just the dog." Playing with my dog is like a workout. Good demonstration.

this is amazing. I have a 12 week old catahoula mix pup, I'd love to develop this level of intense play time with.

That's great! Keep it simple with the puppy. Remember, prey drive is subject to exhaustion. Finish with puppy wanting more.

I have been working the "single step S L O W'" heel from one of your other videos and it took my girl about 15min to understand what was going on. I was moving slow enough she was staying in the finish heel sit and I had to entice her to stay with me, but she got it pretty quick. So on the play, her and I do a lot of play but not the same games as you show here and I think I need to add some of your games. I have not gone through all of your videos, I am slow due to daily farm chores, and wonder what are some good starting methods to things like how Flex sat in front barking, ran past and grabbed the ball type things. The tug is easy, Mika LOVES tug and it took us quite a while for the "take it / drop it / leave it" commands. She is not as fast as Flex is in this video but typically I only need to say drop it one maybe two times and she goes from tug to releasing. The day after I got her my vet warned me that Duchies are mouthy and after about 3 days I understood what he meant!!! Thanks for the good videos! I know this is older but keep it up, please :D

An underemphasized and undervalued aspect of dog training and handling! I'm new to the field, and my dog is effectively teaching me the importance of engagement. Very helpful to see content actually focusing on how to develop it. Thank you!

Nice video! Can you send me a link on Flexes toys in this video plz?
Great intro video on building up the engagement. Few questions, you have a command to make the dog release. Do you also have a command when you want the dog to engage? Should you let the dog win sometimes? And how do you teach dead ball, live ball? Thanks.

Thank you so much! When I bring the dog out, I immediately draw attraction to the toy through movement (getting him to chase it). After a few seconds of tease, I let the dog grab the toy, and the "fight" is on. I then pause and issue the out command. If you have to, stimulate with the second toy. Once released, throw the second toy and repeat the process. I will allow the dog to carry the toy off the field when finished. Hope this helps you.

The music is a little distracting in the beginning.
