Wow! I am surprised the salaries have dropped so much post pandemic. On the 2019 videos before the pandemic people were making 55,000 baht/month with a TEFL certificate and a Bachelors Degree that was not education related. I had looked on Facebook and it looked like many of the places were only paying 35,000 baht/month nowadays. :(

Hi Becca! I have a question. Do we need a TEFL certificate for teaching English in Thai If we are a bachelor's degree in English education and have more than 3 years of teaching experience? Thanks

You absolutely do not need a TEFL! I don't have a TEFL, my degree is in Science, and no teaching experience. And I think with your background experience you'd have no issue finding work without a TEFL.
