🌸 Aesthetic slime 🌸 I’ve have had dogs all my life. I’ve fostered, rehabilitated, and found all of them loving, forever homes. I’m now 66 y/o and am currently training my black lab to be a BMSD. It’s intensive work, right up there with military and police K-9’s. So I think I’ve done that. May you be blessed in your journey with your pup❤️

I agree with everything that he said with the exception of "paying" your puppy with treats! Affection and praise work very well for me!

Listen I was doing the treat thing from 8weeks to 12 weeks and my puppy wouldn’t listen without them. I cut treats out and started only using affection and praise and she listens way more.

I'm not a profesional trainer or anything, but I tell ppl to praise the deed, not the dog. My dog knows she's a good girl. I want her to know that it's a "good stay". I can leave in sit/stay in line while I use a porta potty at a music festival.
