Thanks so much for this video. I had a faulty speaker on my unit from the start. Anbernic sent me a replacement speaker and told me to look up a video lol. Thought it would be harder but it was just removing the screws and pulling plugs.

Any chance you know what the connector type on the battery is? Looking into getting a bigger one made but ive been asked what connector is required, to which i have no clue 😅

JST 1.25mm 2 pin connector.

Thanks, now to see what's the biggest battery they have that fits. Ive sent them an email, waiting for a response. Hopefully i can get something over 4000mah

Been searching for this disassembly. My unit has a problem on the audio jack port.

I tried looking up a part number, not finding anything at the moment. Looks like 6 solder points

@@cosmicgamingunlimited I contacted anbernic and it seems they are not selling that part. I think i might resolder those joints to be able to get the sound back.

@@mjmj6420 Anbernic usually sources their parts from a 3rd party. just need to get a part number. not sure if worth the effort.

@@cosmicgamingunlimited I recently opened my unit and found out 3 joints removed. I resoldered it and it solved the problem. Good thing I don't need the parts.

Mine just shows orange light while charging but won't charge or boot. Battery shows stuck at 0% but it's actually charging because it gets warm and i can use the battery in my bt speaker. Done everything possible.

Check your sd card, make sure it hasnt corrupted. Make sure the Firmware is in the correct sd card slot.

I know the time of the message, but I wanted to know if it solved your problem? I'm having the same problem. I try to charge the Anbernic, and when I plug it in, the orange charging light appears and the battery charging screen does not appear, a black screen. I left it charging for some time and monitored the battery, so as not to overheat or overheat... I tried to use the suggestions on the Anbernic website, for troubleshooting, such as: "RG35XX System Crash/Game Crash" or "RG35XX Unable to Power on and Unable to be Charged" and downloaded the two firmware updates, offered by technical support, ... I used rufus to create the image on the sd card. Of the suggestions, in my case it could be a battery or screen problem... the SD I'm using is from Sandisk, 128GB, as they said the original from Anbernic is of low quality. If you have any suggestions, thank you in advance.

Hi. Can you remove the CPU heatsink? Or the silver metal covering the cpu?

I don't recommend removing the electromagnetic shielding cage. It can be done, but you would have to re-adhere it to the board, as I would not leave it off. It protects the CPU from EMF and also gives it a bit of physical protection as well.

@@cosmicgamingunlimited thank you. I'm just scared of doing it coz anbernic sent me a motherboard that doesnt have that coz mine has audio issue after speaker replacement. And theyre asking me to put it on the new board they sent

Man, good video! Im having a problem on P2 jack since my cat throw my RG35XX PLUS from my bookshelf. The device appears as it is connected to headphones even though it is not. Is there any way I can disable this p2 jack?

aah thanks i think my power button is broken, just got it, can only start it with a kabel and then use the reset button lol.

Complete opposite for me. My power button is physically fine but it is in a state of being always pressed. Any way to disconnect it?

@@dvornikovalexei is it poor alignment with the button cap to the contractor? You can take it apart, remove the plastic piece that is over top of the power switch and plug the battery in and see if it still does the same thing.

@@cosmicgamingunlimited No i mean the problem started with my device would get turned on automatically. Now it's finally dead. When i plug in charger, and press power button, instead of turning the device on it turns off charging instead (the orange light goes off)
