what i'm most curious is the kick top from a "secret song" like if you are taking from another song, why did you need to take that part of a kick of all things? do other clicks that you have just not cut it (from your own library) no judgement here just curious
@itsthewestend2 ай бұрын
just like the transient! and yeah don't want to publicly say i took a micro sample from another song

great track and great vid. So at 5:54, I never choose an input at Sidechain. But lately, I´am doing it. Choosing the Kick channel or Synth channel. My question is, is this needed? Because now I see you don´t use it. The plugin is already side compressing right without choosing
@itsthewestend2 ай бұрын
You can have the sidechain just follow the rate and curve pattern you set in the plugin. So in this case 1/4 which makes when the kick drum hits

what cables are you using on your Audeze headphones?
@BojarLaci3 ай бұрын
How do you decide the key to start the track in? Cause if you gonna find some vocal you have to find a vocal that fits - or do you just change the key and root notes if necessary?
@lelandproductiontips3 ай бұрын
You can just transpose the vocal into whatever key you’re in

You need to learn how ableton works, then you need to learn music production concepts. Audio vs midi, synthesis, effects like reverb, delay, EQ filter. Also join www.kick-bass.com to make it easier

You threw me back to my International Relations Master Degree days with your "necessary but insufficient" term describing the kick/bass/drums components. lol. "Necessary and sufficient" is a term used very, VERY often in upper academia with respect to high level research, like for what actually is a determinate or an indeterminate variable of analysis. lol
