"Story worthy" is such a great book. It's hit or miss every time I read a highly suggested book, but this one was definitely one of the ones that gets my mind going nonstop! I usually hate when authors tell their own stories, too, but Mike is excellent at it. He clearly put a lot of thought into mastery verbal storytelling, and it shows! A lot of story telling information online or in books is geared towards scriptwriting. Matt's book is perfect for verbal storytellng. Great interview as well!

I actually found myself laughing out loud at some of the stories Matthew shared. The whole episode was chock full of information that is both relatable and useful. I'm definitely going to check out the new book.

The greatest example of surprise done well I've ever seen is in the video game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. It was absolutely brilliant. (Please don't spoil it in the comments thanks.)

This episode gives so much kind feelings and a desire to listen and to notice the stories! Thank you Lenny for the deep and practical content! I wonder how Matthew's approach correlates with Brandstory framework, if there is any chance to combine these two concepts...
