Hi Ms. Liz! I think there’s also a big difference between Pollux and Lilacina?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
This video is about Lola vs Lilacina. The mention of Pollux towards the end of the video merely touches on the numerous variety of echeveria that can look almost the same. Maybe next time I'll show a more detailed differences of the two.

I'm glad to see your feeling better. Covid no joke. Thank God you are better what would I do without your videos to watch? Lol. Anyways I have a question for you about Lola but need to send puc and don't know how. Please help me if you can. Not sure why it's growing flat when I'm making sure it gets enough light.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
If it's growing flat, that means the plant is spreading its leaves to try and get as much sunlight as it can. If a plant/lola is closed off, it means it's getting too much sun to try and protect itself from the sun.
@elenadougherty10132 жыл бұрын
Should I behead it or put under growlight? It's winter here in allentown pa so I try to put by window but it's been cloudy. Sorry to be a bother.

I love Lola but they always die on me😢. May I get more informations to keep them alive😅. Thank you so much dear😊
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 ай бұрын
I find them very easy to grow. It might have something to do with the soil. They like a free draining soil and also prefer to be water a lot. Heavily but less often. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.🥰

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK it’s not impossible. My lila came from a Walmart that also had some aloes that looked suspiciously like Echeverias 😂
@judyong28872 жыл бұрын
Hey Liz. Thank you for this confusion. Lol lol. Btw I have a E moon dust which looks so much like them. Probably a hybrid. You mentioned monstrous form. What is that? Also my lovely lola is sick. I have removed some rotten leaves in between and will repot. What else can I do? I think the tightness between the leaves have attributed to a section rotting. Also our wet weather doesn't help eventhough I keep it on my deck and haven't water in weeks. My lola is 4 yrs old plus and has no babies. Why is that? TIA. 😊
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Like humans, there are some plants that chose to not have babies. The soil mix will also have a lot to do with it. If you haven't watered it in weeks, might also be a good idea to give it a little drink and keep it in a bright protected area. Monstrose is a mutation or defect in succulents that makes the leaves look larger than its normal form(swollen). It's like a human face that got stung by a bee.

In my opinion, it's all a marketing ploy to me. A plant looking slightly different than the mother plant, get given a new name. So the sellers can extract more money from us. 😡 Maybe it should be called Lilacina Large Form.
