It'd be great if you do a video about texting and/or how to text with guys. I've noticed A LOT of guys are pretty bad texters (and communicators, for that matter) or just not into it that much. I mean, even if he wasn't into texting he should be texting you if he's interested... right? Well I know this guy that when in person (we have a common group of friends) will have every single sign he's interested (and it actually feels like building up, although slowly), but he will almost never text first, even though he has no problem responding... two opposites, which one should I believe?

He's probably following some inane rules regarding double texting and who's "turn" it is to text. I had a guy that I knew was interested but I gave up on him because he played games with texting like that. Normal people don't care who texts first or last 🙄 If they want to talk to you they will. I want someone who can just communicate without a bunch of rules getting in the way!

If he’s a bad texter, then get him on the phone. If he doesn’t want to chat on the phone, then u have your answer = HES NOT THAT INTO YOU. Besides he should be wanting to go out on dates with you and want to spend time with you. If he doesn’t make the effort, personally I would assume he wasn’t that interested and I would then distance myself and lose attraction for him. I’m attracted to a man who shows he’s interested and wants to persue me. I don’t have time/patience to deal with wishy washy bullshit. U either like me or u don’t.

Love the video, you're one of the best dating coaches I've come across. I think your frustration is coming from teaching the way men think to women whilst assuming we understand the basics of your thought process. I think what you're suggesting is for women to understand their monetary/reproductive worth to men and choose a man as a female animal would, for genetics and resources, knowing they are replaceable. What you're trying to do is teach us a gold diggers mentality and I think unless you're expressly say that, you'll always have some women being left behind as it's not a natural mentality. Women don't see dating as a market, we don't put values on people like they're slaves to be purchased or products to be traded. If you don't expressly say this is a male mentality untill you can get him emotionally attached we assume men can get emotionally attached like we do.

Hey Elliot! I really enjoyed this video. I have a question. When you're talking about tactics a guy will use, are they always intentional? For context, the guy I've had a situationship with and I are both 25. I'd been willing to look past bad behaviour because I thought it was from a place of naivety and learning, we're both young, and not from him intentionally acting a certain way to get what he wants. Does it depend on age? Could it be argued that we are both just learning how to communicate, and he isn't trying to be manipulative? Or does he know what he's doing and I'm being a damn fool? okey I am confused. After two months of hooking up.. he never text me daily… last weekend I went to a club where a friend of him was , this guy has a crush on me. And my hook up immdiatly he came to the club and kissed me. The next day he asked to see me. I think he kinda realised that I mean something to him. Then after two days he texted first again. And now nothing since then. I am confused bc when he is with me, he hug me as he love me & is the sweetest guy but never take me on dates. p.s: three weeks ago ge told me he can‘t see me or text ne bc he has so much going on & I should find me someone else.
