Speaking as a shy guy, texting can be just as tough, if not tougher, than a face to face interaction, because you have more time to think and over analyze with someone you like. I’ve got a jokey personality for instance, but I’ve had instances where it’s taken me 15-20 minutes to text someone I liked because I was worried about offending her. So yeah I wouldn’t necessarily say the guy who’s not responsive on text should be ruled out as liking you.

Ok so let's call him Daniel. Me and Daniel have PE together. We stand next to each other in the line up for that class. He's quiet but he's not entirely awkward or anything, more just to himself, but he's super nice and we share the same humor. So one day he played this Pe warmup with me and was teasing me, then he caught up with me and my friend while we were walking home, offered to fight someone when he thought they hurt my feelings, went up to me and asked me what happened & if I was alright after my anxiety attack, walked again with me home, made deadass eye contact for 6 seconds, said hey to me at my locker, blushed when I complimented him, said "this ones for you" and tried to make a basketball shot but adorably failed. But my issue is that he pushes and teases this other girl but idk... I feel like he likes me but like I don't know how to get him to ask me out because I like him a lot too. I only have Pe every other day so I hardly see him but idk how to get him to ask me out. We haven't been speaking too much Idk how to keep him interested, so girls could you help a sister out? :) UPDATE: 9/15/17 We walked again and had a 15 minute conversation about random things and it was sweet they were telling me stories and I was telling them stories ugh😍

I think that means you're on the phone too long and you need to get off much quicker. I've had the same thing and then he never calls again. Always be the first to leave the conversation, leaving him wanting more, if he wants you at all that is. If he's not calling you after you've made initial contact that's telling you something. Always keep your dignity.

Great video... I've liked this guy for quite a while and didn't think he'd feel the same, assumed he'd be straight, but the more I see him the more it seems mutual. I thought he was disinterested initially, but the last point of the video is exactly what brought me around.. he's kinda awkward and has a hard time starting conversations, but when we do get talking his face just lights up so brilliantly, and he gets really excited and extends conversations as long as possible, laughs quite a lot at my bad jokes, goes out of his way to help me with things, etc. It's adorable, I'm trying to be clear with my signals but it's difficult for such a delicate situation, I know he has anxiety and am just trying to not be too abrasive, but also think a nudge in the right direction would help ease some of the pressure. He has said some stuff that comes off as non-platonic as well, but it seems like he's so shy he literally can't look me in the eye and instead, always looks down or at something he's showing me while we talk. This was really helpful! I had so many mixed feelings whether my crush liked me or not. But, after watching this, I figure he really is a shy guy. Whenever we pass each other, we look at each other's eyes and then give a very quick and awkward smile to each other. That happens everytime we have this chance. One time, I mean most of the time, at lunch, he tends to be with his pals and Im with my gals. He is very talkative around them; of course, I am the same with mine. After lunch, whenever we line up in the hallways with the same class, we are in the usuals lining up literally back to back from each other. This, he kind of becomes quiet and he seems like he wants me to look at him and start a conversation. The problem is, Im not a very sociable person with guys... I feel tense whenever Im around a lot of the guys he is friends with. I guess I didn't want to feel judged around them. Come to think of it, his groups is quite similar to my groups of friends... I should talk to him, but Im too nervous. Another problem is, what should I say?

Well...I'm pretty sure I have the most difficult situation in this channel. ..A friend of mine had the idea to prank call a guy that she new and we ended up talking like...4 times a week. ( cause he lives on an Island near the one I'm living in Greece )..so one day I had a sleepover with some friends and we watched 13 reasons why ,btw I didn't really wanted to watch it....After like 3 episodes I realised that the guy we prank called was like a twin with the actor of the series..so I tested at 1 am and he responded so we were like texting till 3 am , he asked if I had a bf , he told me how amazing I am etc...now he doesn't text first but whenever I call him we have a conversation going and I looking forwards for Christmas cause he's coming to the island I'm living.... When it comes to texting my crush he'll text me and then take long to respond and will text back. Other times just leave me on read but will open quickly. He's nicer when he isn't around his friends and he seems imtrested in our conversation. When we walk past each other we don't acknowledge eachother maybe a little eye contact but not a hey or anything. When he's around his friends he doesn't fully acknowledge me unless his friends walk up to me.

I don't talk in group scenarios....but if im there, he will go quiet but its like as if he is forced to be nice or he just seems annoyed as hell We don't text For a while, he will be facing me and be near me..for the next while..after it gets awkward and weird he will be facing away and want nothing to do with me and when the bell goes he will run out of the room Somewhat..but he doesn't really ask questions ...its weird...sometimes he does keep up the conversation..sometimes he doesn't

i joined my crush’s friendship group a few months ago in around late march but i left to join another one in late may, thing is his group and mine hang out at break very near each other so we still end up talking to each other sometimes. we have a few mutual friends and when we’re in a group setting he always seems to look at me and talk to me and seems interested in what i have to say, but when we’re alone it’s sort of awkward. he looks/stares in my direction a lot but sort of tries to hide it and when we make eye contact for a long duration of time he gives me the middle finger (as a joke). he remembers a lot of small details about me, like once he even remembered where i was born. we walk the same way home together so sometimes it’s just me and him and i’ll be telling him a story like that one last week about seeing my pe teacher in town and he won’t look at me as we’re walking (he looks straight ahead or at the ground) but he listens to me and smile/laughs at the right time. he always teases me BUT it happens a lot, and he does that to other girls. and he thinks i’m good-looking, he’s mentioned it before .i know it sounds like he likes me and i’m trying to rely on my gut instinct but i don’t know what my gut instinct is telling me! a sign he doesn’t like me is that i had him on instagram a while ago and he unfollowed me (it was a few weeks ago but still) and also these signs only seem relevant to me now, like i’ve only just started noticing them this past week as my crush on him is starting to develop if you get what i mean, so i don’t know if i’m just convincing myself that he likes me.
