Digs-- I love all your little put together vids with these two girls and overseer. Just one problem with your dead tests , you left one out. The stem test. You cut into the stem at an angle preferably and see if there is green cast in the center if so it is alive.

Idk how but the soil of my lemon plant was bone dry and the plants leaves were bone dry. I kept on watering it for 3 weeks and there was new growth! I found out that the stem of the lemon was pliable and so was the stem of the citrus fruit I have. So this gives me good hope

I went out of town and the person taking care of my plants forgot to water my gardenia which was full of buds. When I can back ALL the leaves were dry but the it seems to be sprouting a couple of itty bitty leaves. Is that enough for it to recuperate? Should I trim it back? I am scared that I might do more harm than good to trim it as the itty bitty leaves are at the ends of the stem. Please help me 😞
