I don't even really enjoy maintaining friendships people are too emotional I only have one or two friends if I can even call them that. Asexual = lacking desire for anyone on a sexual level. Homoromantic/heteroromantic/panromantic/ect = desiring a romantic relationship with a person. I never addressed my romantic state, however there are also a-romantic folks who desire no romantic relationships either. To be honest, I toggle somewhere between a-romantic and bi-romantic. I don't usually desire a relationship at all, but when I become involved, I don't care if it's a man or woman...though I am married to a man. I hope this relationship lasts our whole lives, because I do love my husband, and also because I find dating very difficult due to my asexual and at times a-romantic nature. Best of luck to you on your own journey.

I'm not trying to debate you on your sexuality, (because only you know yourself, and it sounds as though you have really payed wonderful attention to who you are deep down), but along the asexual spectrum, there are "grey-Asexual" and "demisexual." You sound like a classic demi, wanting to establish a pronounced relationship before ever becoming sexually active. I think that's fantastic, personally! I really wish I were more demisexual. I feel as though that "might" be the best of both worlds. Demis want to get to know someone for who the person really is, wants to see how well they mesh together, and once the demi feels comfortable in the relationship they can then develop sexual feelings for their partner. I really think that's a win-win situation, because you get to know the one you are dating, and then you get to feel something for them on a sexual level as well. I've only ever experienced that once in my life. I don't know, maybe that's kept me from making more mistakes in my life, being asexual that is. Anyhow, I'm sorry others have given you any grief at all over your own body and desires! Sometimes I just wish the world could see things through another person's eyes for a bit, just so they could learn what it's like to live an alternative lifestyle. I'm not targeted by being asexual, not like many others in the LGBTQ community, but I know I'm not typical, not by a long shot. Because of that, I feel that I strive to be more understanding of people, and that understanding is what I wish the world had for one another. I think we have come a long way in the last 20 years or so, but we still have so much farther to go before there is true equality. Whatever you do, don't let anyone get you down for being just the way you are! I'm sure that someday you will find someone who either understands how you feel, or loves you so much that even though they don't understand exactly, they still accept you just as you are.

its not if your ONE your a lesbian, its if someone is all but 2 or 3 of these. theres a pretty good chance they might be a lesbian/bisexual. my friend is bi and she does do quite a lot of these, what did it for me was the way she sits, because yes that is her all the way. but again, these dont mean for a fact if a girl is all of these that shes a lesbian, but if your unsure and want a way to take a guess, theyre giving you things that they have seen as common lesbian actions.

I figured it was only a sort of a joke, but there are some that would say it makes me gay no matter what I say. It isn't like no one has ever thought for sure someone was gay when they werent. I do think some people may be in denial so the mannerisms tell a different story than the person, but I am secure in my sexual it and wouldn't have a problem with admitting it to myself if I was truly attracted to women sexually. I have had girl crushes, but it was more fascination than sexual attractions .
