Best way to tell your wife you bought something, stick a camera in her face tell her what you bought and just say remember the world is watching. Be careful how you react. Just a word to the wise dont turn the camera off till she has calmed down

Wow , Super nice . I have a I think it's a 71 Pete Square doors , 5 and 4 speed . Same headlights and cab as your Pete . I't a great truck . I just picked up a 350 Small cam and a 15 speed . I am going to put that in and also leave the 4 speed browny box . Wish me luck .

The right people and the right budget with a workable time frame and that would be one beautiful truck. If the bed wasn't born with the truck installed as part of the original unit then I would x the bed. It would have to be cab off....complete restoration.

All the work you did to get the Pete running it just had to come home with you forklift no brainer especially that can be ridden off-road I have a friend that the rear went in a larger one took rear out of Ford dump truck used it for years still has it but never uses it anymore

It was in the wood buried. Someone took it off at some time or the wind got it. The hinge is rusted, that is why it doesnt close right
