My granddaughter has been in and out of hospitals. They have checked just about everything on her. She was having some serious issues. Her mother never gave up. They had all kinds of labels on her....Now she is seeing a GI doctor with possible autoimmune liver. Well, her mom remembered a couple years back she was diagnosed with Lactose intolerant it seemed to resolve itself. Her mom has taken dairy out again and a healthy liver diet and wow what a difference!!!! Her symptoms were neuropathy, seizures, passing out and throwing up. We pray she continues to heal! And will continue her follow up appointments with the GI Doctor.

At the moment, my body is reacting in supersonic hyper drive to everything. I have the genes for DQ2.5 (recent serology) but haven't knowingly consumed gluten for 11+years. It took a while to work out that traditional Gluten Free is a trash diet but eventually I just ate fresh food growing in the garden along with meat, eggs and cheese. Did Low carb for a while and enjoyed the mental benefits and fasted for weight loss. Stress came into the picture and old habits returned and I gained all my weight back and then started to have skin problems. In February this year I commited to getting my health under control but it appears that my health, apart from being slim, is rapidly progressing in the backwards direction. I came across your series of videos on Glutenology and cut dairy and coffee in case of cross reactions. As I have been low carb, I don't eat grains and limit my starchy vegetables. Yet, my kin rash has progressed from the face to include the neck and the hands. I am not supplementing as I don't know what's in the fillers. All I eat ATM is chicken, water, home grown seasonal veg (carrots, parsnip, fennel and asparagus). All my previously enjoyed foods, like green leafy veg as well as brassicas and onions flare different symptoms. I cannot eat fermented veg without reactions. I feel like I am living a horror story. My serology shows AS CA positive and pANCA negative. I also have antibodies for gluten but not high enough for a referral for a scope. I don't know if that's normal or whether I should have 0.01 like I do for sesame as I haven't eaten the stuff for 11+ years Dr Osborne, this stuff is so hard to figure out on your own.

I totally relate to what you are saying. Here are a few areas to look at, just in case there is something new to you, based on my own experience of reacting to everything - I would find my face and neck swelling, affecting my breathing badly. I can eat most foods now. Chicken is very high in omega 6 without giving omega 3 which is destroyed in cooking - not good, Beef and lamb are the safest. I eat about an ounce (28) gram of walnuts to get omega 3. You may be sensitive to sulfites (sulphites). I was advised this by an Allergist from the hospital - when no food allergies were found. I found I could eat chickpeas, some beans and lentils but not veg other than a little root veg - organic veg was better. Radish is good boiled in a stew. Find out if seaweed fertilisers would be better for you. As regular ones seem to contain sulfites. Fermented food will increase histamine. Instant coffee - bad effect - coffee beans are fine. One last item you may have read about is MCAS. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome where the body over reacts, releasing histamine and other chemicals in much greater quantities - it can be greatly improved. I am currently trying out magnesium L threonate but this would not necessarily be a good starting point for you. It is a horrible place to be and it seems poorly understood. You might need to save up for consultations and blood tests. Dr Osbourne can't answer here! My heart goes out to you, I hope you can move forwards as I have done. I am now highly reactive only to perfumes, moulds and traffic and can enjoy my food again.💔

@@eileenfb1948 When I eat red meat, especially beef, my symptoms flare. Not only does my face feel like it's on fire and get welts, lumps and bumps on it but my hands flare too. My fingers get red and swell and they get lumps too. Not only that, but the bones hurt and this lasts for days after I've eaten. I have had extensive bloods done and there was no markers for mast cell activation or even histamine problems. I still freeze fresh bought meat and cook from frozen just in case. I have been doing a Low Carb autoimmune protocol. Lost 20kg (don't know what that is in lbs) but I haven't got to the symptoms resolved stage yet. If it takes six months for a turn over in immune cells and I still consistently flare then my next renewal of cells will have them being more hyper. I want them less reactive and calming down.

@@emmaleethompson7964 That sounds dreadful Emma. I would read up on the benefits of freezing fresh meat before cooking it. The fresher the food the less histamine in it. I really do hope you find relief soon. ❤

I know I react to wheat, corn, and oats. It doesn't even pay to get a genetic test then for gluten sensitivity correct? I get severe depression and fatigue for up to a week after. I am now eliminating all the other potential problematic Foods in no grain no pain.

I know that sesame make me violently ill so I naturally avoid eating them. My IgE says I have 0.01 antibodies to sesame. Doesn't make sense or fit with my response.

It is important to understand that this test has never been scientifically proven to be able to accomplish what it reports to do. The scientific studies that are provided to support the use of this test are often out of date, in non-reputable journals and many have not even used the IgG test in question. The presence of IgG is likely a normal response of the immune system to exposure to food. In fact, higher levels of IgG4 to foods may simply be associated with tolerance to those foods.

I absolutely love blueberries, but they cause inflammation especially in my legs, especially near my knees. I also am highly allergic to Cloves, the spice, but that's apparently due to the eugenol content of Cloves which I figured out when I had numbing medication cause the same severe reaction. Not sure why blueberries cause inflammatory response. Cherries, that I also love, cause the same symptoms for me as blueberries. I definitely can't have gluten, either.

Does gluten free diet induce or inhibit the heme oxygenase-1 pathway? [HO-1 is the Universal Stress Enzyme that breaks down heme proteins in mammals into equal parts iron (which goes to ferritin), biliverdin (which goes to bilirubin) and carbon monoxide (which diffuses back and forth between blood and tissues, binding to heme proteins such as hemoglobin in blood, myoglobinn in muscles and cytochromes in mitochondria)].

Is there any possibility to order the food sensitivity test if you live in Europe? I can hardly eat anything since 15 years without getting a laundry list of symptoms and I’m therefore not able to work or enjoy my life. Would be so grateful for a short reply 🌸

@@laurawillingham1965 It's almost funny how supporters of so-called alternative medicine aka SCAM really believe they understand science better than the best doctors in the world at places like the Mayo clinic. Invariably the conspiracy theory BS takes over. Natural cures "they" don't want you to know about... Kevin Trudeau is in prison for a GOOD reason. Same with the pH miracle alkaline diet fraudster Robert Young. He was already convicted of practicing medicine without a license and did jail time. He went right back to scamming vulnerable cancer patients.

I have severe food sensitivities... Doctor sent me to an allergist... tested me for allergies... So everything came out worthless... Although I did show some signs of autoimmunity. I was clear that my problem was food sensitivities not allergies ...an alergy gives you an immediate response is my understanding a sensitivity is going to debilitate you after you digest as is in my case.

@@virginiamoore4977 I'm glad you are doing well. I'm not the bad guy. I'm not trying to sell you anything...BUTT it's fairly well-known that many members of so-called alternative medicine aka SCAM tell people what they want to hear and what they say is NOT EVIDENCE based despite what they work hard to convince you of. You may be a very "suggestible" person which is a big part of the explanation for why some "swear by" what their chiropractor or Naturopath told them etc. I've been interested in this stuff for a long time. Every healthy body makes the IGG stuff so testing for it is worthless. It doesn't mean you should stop eating those foods though. Start with reading about what scientists call confusing correlation with causation. That's why homeopathy is still around even though scientists know it's primitive nonsense. I didn't feel well. I took a homeopathic item and got better. That proves it works. No, it doesn't because in most cases the body recovers from minor ailments on it's own. I just saved you many hours of reading because that's the summary.
