Doing a continuity test while powering up the coil terminals is ok as a starting point, but to simulate a more real world scenario, applying some sort of load, like a test light etc, to the power and load terminals 30+87 is a more accurate way to confirm if the 30-87 or 30-87a contacts can actually carry any current👍🇦🇺

Remember, these relays are specific vehicles with make, model, and year. You would need the right information for your vehicle because this video won't work for your relays.

This is such a generic video review of relays, simply because there are many different relays for many different vehicles, and not all relays have the same numbers for contacts ! For instance my relay has the contacts on each corner with the numbers 1,2,3 & 5 instead of 85,86,30&87 and all the contacts are the same size 🤔🙄
