Already you insert IC in middle slot of breadboard where it's verticals points are shorted so it will definitely show short circuit

Hi , when we are on Diode Mode and we have sound or Buzzer ,that means we have short , and if you don't have sound or buzzer and we have voltage that means ic working well , right ? thnx

When you use diode test,then you read expected proper diode voltage drop,not resistance

Diode mode can read resistance same time but not high value about 2 kom

If u r amtuer its hard to u understand this idea coz somtime price for repaire is depending on ic price if its Expensive Customer dosent Accepts this cost, anyway if u work in repairing u well understand
