I have an e39 528i I get an error in the scanner I checked and I have the ventilation valve but there is no hose that I connected with it. Could you help me and guide me from where the hose to the valve comes from and where it ends. very grateful for the help.

You could certainly try.......spray cleaner and blow with a compressor. If it still does not click or open then you need a new one!

This is not a good video, it only shows that the electrical part of the valve works, however, most of the valves fail by sticking open and causing an incorrect purge flow or "evap leak". You should add that when the valve is closed, absolutely no air should be able to flow through the valve, if you blow on it and even a tiny amount of air leaks out, the valve is bad.
