In this video I have shown how to test BJT transistor using a digital multimeter. In this video, I have discussed the forward bias and reverse bias, how to identify PNP transistor or NPN transistor and how to identify base emitter and collector of a transistor.
Here I have used BC557 and BC547 for testing the transistor terminals.
I recomend you to watch complete tutorial video of the transistor testing but you can click on the following timestamps to skip any portion:
00:42 Forward Bias and Reverse Bias connection
02:35 How to identify PNP or NPN transistor
04:39 How to identify base emitter and collector terminals of a transistor
After watching this video you can easily identify PNP or NPN transistor legs without any transistor datasheet. In this video I have shown steps for testing a BJT transistor with a multimeter so that you face no problem while testing any transistor.

@TechStudyCell
@TechStudyCell 4 жыл бұрын
Identify BASE terminal: You will not get any reading in multimeter across the collector & emitter terminals. But if you connect the Red lead with BASE and black lead with collector or emitter of NPN transistor you will get reading. For PNP transistor you will get reading by connecting the Black lead with BASE and Red lead with collector or emitter. Please refer the following videos for MOSFET: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3eaZWN7asegbpY
