Got one today, and confirmed it's the same one you have, because at about 4:20 it says "server test". LOL Cheapest server tester I've ever seen ;-)

I hoped to see here how to connect the servo to the board, since there are two ways on this 9 pin block.

I'm coming in a bit late but I know what you mean. The cables connect horizontally, so one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom, rather than side by side.

I like your video but you didn't show how to hook up power supply. I just received the same servo tester ,without any power supply, instructions, I have never used one before so I would like a little more information please. Thank you have a great day 😊

I just had problem using these servos testers, but discovered 6 Volts is not enough volts and the servos jitter. Using a 7.2 volt rechargeable no problem.
@TomsTrainsandThings4 жыл бұрын
Most 9 g servos are 4.8 to 5 v there are larger servos that will handle up to 7.2 vdc.

how to make a servo : attach a variable resistor to a geared motor use a 339 ic : put a diode offset between the inputs. lm339 quad +- for 2 servos all done/ add a supply ON transistor. 1 volt used batteries can leave the 339 on. use 4 transistors each motor >

Hi! What are the specs on the potentiometer on that servo tester? I'm wondering about buying and modding one like that.
can this be used to tesdt a 2g servo? if so what aditional component do i need for it. Thanks!

It should work with any size, the voltage is the deterring factor

Hey, i bought this same one that came with a battery compartment (i don’t know if yours had that) but when i try to plug in more than 1 servo all the lights flash in the servo goes all jittery, it is not the servo either as i have tested it with other servos and the same thing happened, do you have any info i could use to fix it (thanks in advance)
@TomsTrainsandThings8 ай бұрын
These testers are open source, so any manufacturer can produce them. Not familiar with the one you describe. Sounds like you have a defective one. Sometimes things don't work at this low price. I normally buy multiple devices because of this.

Hi mate. I have this servo tester and 270 deg servo. When i test my servo, it only moves 180 deg. How can i test the full 270 deg range? Thanks!
@TomsTrainsandThings3 жыл бұрын
These testers were designed for testing 180 degree servos. I've looked online for testers for 270 degrees, but but was unable to find one that specifically states 270. I have another video on servo testing where you can sweep from low to high on the servo through an Arduino sketch.kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWSnfWB-Zcuto7s
@robert5742 жыл бұрын
@@TomsTrainsandThings I've done a lot of reading about servos. The 270 degree servo uses the same pulses as the 180. It is just spread out over a larger angle. The tester should have operated it to each end of travel. Check your servo to see if it is indeed a 270 and not 180 degrees.

Sorry to hear about that. Your the first one who said they had issues. I've had issues with other units but that was because they stated they would drive 4 servos. They did not.
