When I double-click on the camera to connect, it tells me that it cannot connect to the camera because I don't have the right settings even though I do have the right settings.

Are you using a data cable, are your camera USB settings set to tether mode?

This doesn't work for me and I don't understand why. Camera is on PC Remote mode, camera is on of course, factory USB C cable, brand new Macbook Pro (M3 series), restarted computer, camera is showing in the menu on IEDT. Select the camera. "Can't Connect to Camera" And it just repeats itself over and over and over and over and over no matter what I do. I've tried everything I can to troubleshoot it. It just arbitrarily can't connect. If there is any advice, I would appreciate it.

It might be the OS almost every new OS stops working with certain apps. Try a different version of Mac OS
