How to thicken fonts

Glad it was helpful! Next week I will show you how to color in the fonts so that the cricut will draw them in solid for writing, engraving, or foiling. Any font can be turned into a writing font. So stay tuned.

@@DonnaMiller Excellent, looking forward to it. Is there a way to add a shadow layer to words. To shadow something like, Thank You, but not just the individual word the whole background? Not sure if I explained that right. Thank you!

I'm glad that you are going to try it out! It can be intimidating at first, but once you learn how to do something it makes you want to learn more. I like it because you don't really need to know what all the buttons do in order to create your own image and it is free. Just start with something small and build from there.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but after I select the Paint bucket it turns my cursor into a paint bucket and I can’t select the letters to change the sickness it just puts a red line over everything. Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello when I go to thicken my fonts it doesn't do anything but change the color. Can you please help

Change the grow and shrink by to a larger number. It might be set in zero, and in that case, it would only change the font color.

If anyone can please help I would appreciate it. My font looks fine until I enlarge it, then it gets these little geometric holes in the font. I can't figure it out and I am on hold with Cricut (almost 30 minutes and might take up to 2 hours). I am in the middle of a project and don't know what to do.

I woukd first try to weld it in cricut design soace to see if that would work, and try a small test cut first. If that doesn't work, then you will need to delete some nodes in inkscape. Here is a video to help with that kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHuQo6Smja5meqc
