@soniasarwar4018 Жыл бұрын
I'm a health science student disclaimer sweat doesn't stink or makes you smell bad unless you have a medical condition, it's actually the bacteria present on that specific area that causes bad odour, so when u sweat from the area where bacteria is that's when u get bad odour, hence it is important to clean your body first thoroughly with antibacterial soap and then go over scented shower wash, personally I don't recommend using scented ones in your underarms, cleansing properly with antibacterial soap will do the job.
@AliciaWatkins-id1kq7 ай бұрын
Great info as a person learning science this helps, so if we have bacteria in these areas we address with a physician, correct?
@Nic0Dr4ws2 ай бұрын
Bit late, but I don’t think it’s anything to consult a doctor about ( unless it’s really bad). Not all bacteria is bad, even if it causes odor

I just want to say thank you so much! I was taught growing up to just bathe. And then junior high to shower instead everyday. But no matter what I did, I smelled so bad. Especially after P.E, I was a stink bomb. It was so God dang embarrassing and was such a struggle all the way up until I watched this video. Im 24 and am just realizing this stuff. I couldn't do perfume because I'm allergic to fragrances and felt so insecure about my body odor. Going to my religious meetings. Odor. Going to work. Odor. Sitting in restaurants with friends. Odor. I would clench my armpits and thighs closed to try and help. I was struggling. One day, last month, I opened up KZbin on my TV and this video showed up. I was like....sure, why not? And as the video played, I was like...huh? Why didn't I know any of this? Especially working in Healthcare! Then i binged all your stuff. And i thought to myself, I can do some fragrances, so let me give it a try. Because i just can't. Im personally looking to get in a relationship and i was so self concious on what would happen an hour after i showered and the soap smell disappears and my body odor comes in. And my body odor is BAD. I was in between pay, so i tried 1 thing from Chloe out first and that was to double cleanse. Went upstairs and did my double cleanse. Guys... I work out every day and have a very active job where im sweating ALL the time. Just doing that small change helped BIG TIME!! I got busy and didn't have time to shower for another 3 days. And when i went to shower, I didn't even smell. No must no odor. I was like, what?! Like, Im tearing up right now because this has been such a huge insecurity of mine for over a decade! Fast forward to next week. Got paid and I went to the store. Got my peony lume body wash for the downstairs area. Got lume deodorant also peony. Walmart has an equate that smells like Dove and you get so much more soap. Got a foot scrubber. Baby wash cloths to wash my downstairs area. Another girl I saw on KZbin recommended Tung that provides a separate tongue brush and it's own type of gel for your tongue so I got that. I... did not get Chloe's mouthwash 🙈 Only because I work in Healthcare and the one they be recommending is the Therabreath. And my coworker was breathing down my neck to get it so I got it. Sorry Chloe 🙏😂 But if it fails, I know what to get me right. I practically ran up the stairs to my bathroom. Did everything like Chloe said to do minus the perfume and girl! I've never smelt that way before in my LIFE! Words cannot express how thankful I am to you Chloe. I've been praying and praying to get a guy, and this is one less insecurity I will have going into a relationship. My Hygiene is on point. Thanks so much girl. Now all I have to do is keep working out. Some recommendations I ran into: ◇ Have you ever taken a shower or bath and you're drying off and dead skin is rolling up and falling off in the towel or just falling off to the floor? I thought that was weird. And I was using a regular towel. It may be just me but to me it was embarrassing. I was like, was I not cleaning myself right? On Amazon, they have something called Almooni. Their scrub pads changed my life. They are rough at first because they are made of bamboo, but they soften out, and I haven't had any dead skin ever since and I've been using it for years. Never going back. Sorry Chloe 😂 But I would highly recommend them. IMPORTANT! They also have a BACK SCRUBBER! It is long and you just seesaw it across your back and get a good clean. Just remember, these pads don't last forever and I would buy some every 2 months or less. To keep them clean as they will eventually get dirty and cannot be washed in a washer. ◇ For my fragrance free girls out there, what she says works, even if you use fragrance free soaps and lotions. Your odor will not come back at all! I promise. I was skeptical, but it works. It works so well ◇ I'm overweight, and trying to reach back to clean your butt is very strenuous for me as I have a huge flab on the back of my shoulder preventing me from doing so. As I'm working out, it is getting easier and I can't wait to be my desired weight so I don't have to be out of breath from washing my behind😂 But let me give yall a tip. Get a baby wash cloth, but make sure they are the really long ones. Take one end and wrap it under your thigh so your other hand is holding the other. It should look like you are about to tie your shoe. and from that point, move it up to your bum, and start seesawing girl. Don't go furious so you don't rub yourself raw, lolz. But it is the most effective way to clean your bum if you can't reach back the normal way Chloe shows. And you get a thorough clean. Mind you, when doing this, make sure not to get your downstairs area during this process as you don't want to move whatever was in your bottom into there. 😬 ◇ Once again. Overweight, and to try and lift my foot to scrub it wasn't working, so I went on Amazon and they have feet scrubbers that stick to the bottom of the tub, allowing you to get a thorough cleanse. I find it better and more efficient than the brush because the bristles are all over so in between your toes are getting just as good a clean as the bottom of your foot is. The brush is better for getting under the nails better, but you can still use the pad, just point your toes and rub it along the bristles. ◇I'm lazy when it comes to Shaving. But I found, for me, that the less hair I have in my downstairs area and my armpits, the odor don't be there. And I have never used a shaver as I am scared of cutting myself and soap running into it. 😬 So I use skin sensitive nair and gurl!!! No ingrown. No hyperpigmentation. And the best part. No hair. And I'm severely dry skinned. But when it is my nair day and I use it on my legs. I can go 2 or 3 days without lotion or Vaseline because it is super moisturizing. And the hair don't come back for a week and a half or 2. For me that is. It was a holy grail my mom and dad handed down to me and I'm so happy about it. Overall, Chloé. Thank you. May Jah bless you. Because you've helped me so much. I'm gonna try and spread this to others in hopes it helps them to. Thanks so much!

Hi Chloé I would like to THANK YOU for giving me so many tips about hygiene. I'm a 55 year old woman and it's never too late to learn something new. I'm a very clean woman but there was things I wasn't always doing but did sometimes like washing my body twice. I'm not a proud woman and will hold my hands up and admit things when the occasion arises. We as humans are always learning and should never think because we are of a certain age no one can tell us anything...no, that's not right. Your a very wise young woman and when I see you taking a shower you always make me want to jump back in and take another one 😊. Thank you again and may The Lord continue to bless you and your loved ones ❤🙏🏼 you are a true inspiration.

A makeup remover cloth is better and more gentle to use for your face and underarms and thoroughly cleanses you! Then use a washcloth for your private parts and body!! Its a GAME CHANGER! Also always wash every washcloth you use on your body before and after you use it, to make sure to get rid of bacteria and laundry soap which messes up your bodys PH level which causes body odor! The best bar soap to use that doesnt mess up your ph balance, is natural, and thoroughly cleans is Dr. bronners baby unscented soap in the baby blue packaging! Best way to clean your armpits is to use a makeup remover cloth with soap, and wash, rinse and repeat 4-6 times for EACH armpit!

I have been following this routine for a while. Now I don't smell though I drench in sweat when I go to school. I don't even need to use deodorant. Thank you so much.

Good tips. One more to add- dry your skin! Make sure you dry those pits before applying deoderant and dry between your toes really well too as well as any other creases, under breasts etc. * I always start with the least dirty working through to the dirtiest and use a new wash cloth every time. You’ve got this!!

If you don't mind me asking, how is your diet? Because that might be the issue. I had BO and even showered 2x a day but I still had it. I recently started a more healthy diet plus adding onto my water intake and I'm all good now :)
@r0sepetals Жыл бұрын
@@eunoia7429 Thank you so much the interesting part is my diet is not even heavy I don't like spices or garlic I can say that I eat healthy most of the time I just like fried food a little bit and desserts I love sugary things like chocolate maybe that's the reason and I'm trying to drink 1 lt of water but sometimes I can't :(

I have been struggling since I was 12. I have taken showers and thought I smelled good. I was so frustrated that I almost gave up on showering. The enemy had convinced me that I was going to small bad either. I don’t believe that anymore. I am restarting my hygiene journey. Just remember every day is a new day. I know having a bad smell can be embarrassing and humiliating. Just keep trying. I have prayed that the Lord help me to have good hygiene and smell good. I have even asked for help picking out good perfumes that compliment me. I know there are hard days but I am confident that the Lord will give us victory. Remember that he loves and values you regardless of how you smell.

liquid chlorophyll is good to drink in your water and eliminates body odor, give that a try. sometimes you may need to see a doctor for any underlying causes

@@preciousjewel8333 Thanks for sharing your experiences I realized that mine started after a depression and anxiety it came with digestive system problems as well,most important thing is mental health through this journey there were people make fun of me my classmates or close friends but they never told me in a good way, I believe we will get better never lose hope.

Yess the thicker washcloth is so annoying because it takes longer to get soapy and plus I don't feel clean because it's rag to skin instead of soap.

You use the same washcloth for a week? I can’t do that. I use a new/clean wash cloth EVERY time I shower. I’m not judging, sis. I’m just interacting. Great tips. I love all of your content. 🫶🏾

Really? Why can’t you just pop it in the washing machine after each time you shower. I’ve just never heard of someone throwing out a washcloth after one use. not being rude just super curious. 😅
@sweeetisme Жыл бұрын
@@jadepalma6873You do laundry everyday? I'm assuming she puts the used washcloths (after they've dried) in her laundry basket, till laundry day. I do laundry once or twice a week, not daily. But I have a whole drawer filled with washcloths, I'd never run out.
