Levi’s, Dickies, Wrangler, and others are all available at either WalMart, sites/stores like Sears and JcPenny, Kohl’s - for $20-ish new and even less on sale - so don’t pay too much at thrift stores. Those brands aren’t rare or hard to find new or used...Google eBay kinda sellers and you’ll see LOADS for sale way cheap (so DEF don’t overpay hyped-up, crazy overpriced resellers on Depop or wherever). Just do the slightest bit of looking around and you’ll save $$$. And just to throw out some info...actual “Mom jeans” refer to jeans that have a particular fit: absolutely have a very tapered leg cut (skinny at ankles, widen at thigh), high-waist with a long zipper/closure, and are somewhat loose in the thigh/rear. Jeans that are straight leg, lower waisted, skinny fit, tight-fitted, bootcut/flare AREN’T proper “Mom jeans”.

I think many men's jeans go by a system that involves the size of your waist. As long as you measure your waist beforehand, you'll be fine. If the tag says 33x32, then it means the inseam is 32 and 33 is the waist

Okay, also I don't know if this is an everyone thing or of it is just me but when I thrift mom jeans and I am specifically looking at vintage jeans I size up one or two sizes. I wear a 10/12 normally but vintage (70s-90s) jeans have no stretch so they won't fit over my butt lol I usually end up getting a 14/16. My favorite brands to find are Calvin Klien, Levi's, and Wranglers!
